The Independent Voice of West Indies Cricket

About Us

CaribbeanCricket.com is a volunteer-based fansite dedicated to the cultural phenomenon that is cricket in the West Indies. Since December 2000, we have been providing news and opinion about West Indies cricket, along with a vibrant message board where West Indies fans from around the world can discuss what is important to them.

Our goal is to provide free and comprehensive coverage of the happenings and issues of West Indies cricket, free of outside influences. We seek to foster the community of fans of Caribbean cricket, by giving them a place to air their views and share inside news.

Our Editor-in-Chief is Ryan Patrick, a seasoned veteran of the Caribbean news community who has worked for several newspapers in Guyana, and currently covers security issues for major online IT news outlets. Ryan also maintains a security blog at securitywatch.eweek.com.

Sean Mitchell is responsible for the technical side of things, including server administration and software development. He also occasionally pitches in with editorials and is CaribbeanCricket.com's senior staff photographer.

Many people contribute articles, but one of the most prolific is Michelle McDonald, well known for her in-depth interviews and her on-the-scene coverage, as well as her photos. Other regular contributors have included Vaneisa Baksh, Lawrence Romeo, Venky Mali, John Richardson, Kurt Toolsie, along with many others.
