The trees start blossoming in June (for a September/October harvest).

One of my favorite fruits.

No fruit makes a better jam. The fruit is great green (with some salt) or ripe, even in between. The juice is divine. My neighbour has given me permission to pick freely. I am supplying the long neck pears.

Oilah, Johnbull, Chrissy,

I will wait until someone reports on the juneplum jam. Trust me it will not be a secret much longer.

Camos,

My cup runneth over. Long neck pears to stone dawg. Pity the season is so short.

Drapsey,

No sir, never lived in Hanover. Spent a couple weeks there doing the government's work many years ago.

Thanks for the response.

I thought you might've been an acquaintance (with the last name Headley) who initially lived in Hanover and migrated as a kid to mother England, and who eventually settled in St. Mary/Portland (??) after a teaching stint at Russea's.

June Plum (or as we say in Bim Golden Apple) is one of de nicest fruit around. As a juice drink you can't find better or more refreshing. The unfortunate trend in Bim is that juice is replaced with water and too much sugar.

Golden Apple is BOSS.
