the only thing he can say about shiv innings is that he got a hundred. Shiv never at any point looked like he was batting for a win.

Commentator just say............................
Doghouse fi him yes!
His first 50 took 94 deliveries, the next 57 runs he scored came from 54 balls. What is the problem with that?
Nobody else eh even score a half century, but he's getting the blame.
no one is blaming baugh
wow this is nonsense
In reply to Devin
How foolish
In reply to Devin
He always leaves it until TOO FACKING LATE!
In reply to Devin
The other players were handicapped by actually playing for the win.
Hard to score a half century, with the required run rate that Shiv's average hunting had created
cheers
In reply to Devin
If its one thing you can predict accurately.....its regardless what Shiv do...he will take de most cuss on this board
From 14-2 to 106-3. Take away the run out and the tail really started very very early.
Shiv should bat at both ends the next time
In reply to Devin
Study de cricket Devin....

Look get over it - Shiv is dealing wid his numbers - his average and his tons. When yuh finally mek di average reach 40 after over 230 ODIs, yuh have to concentrate hard fi dem not outs to keep it. After dem drop him twice today and nearly messed up di average di man had to deal wid di average. Get over it. DI team sucks.
In reply to Devin
and was that reqd runrate hovering around 6 during that period sir....
In reply to Chrissy
Well that is so obvious even Boomer admits it . . . He is obviosuly playing for his records-few West indians are truly like that . . . He must be American
In reply to navindesigns
and FINLAY TOO ? WHO IS HE?
In reply to Chrissy
No the team doesn't suck...the team is young, and the young players still out there trying to win games. Unfortunately they batting around a man who doesn't seem to care as much as the others do.
After umpteen years and you still calling "yes, no, maybe" all for the same run, someone has to sit you down and have a real long chat about your priorities!!!
In reply to Chrissy That was really a mouthful.
Shiv got a ton and a not out. I can imagine how pissed you are.
We lost the match, not because teh ball was swinging so much and pegged us back at 14/2..
Stueeeepppppppps At least Pullo showing more bitterness today

I know tings allyuh een know. Allyuh should listen to me. Shiv has perfected di art of playing fi Shiv.
think fuh yuhself peeps...tek away 107 from 208...let me know what yuh get..
In reply to Devin
During the second half of the innings WI needed 7 Runs per over and above... As a senior Player in any partnership dont you think he should have scored more than 57 off the 54 Balls if he was looking for a win?
if shiv was playing for pakistan he would of get drop the next game and thats a fact it happan to a pakis already , he made a hundred come not out team lose and he was drop for that same reason !sure right !
when the game was poised with 66 runs needed from 56 balls shiv was only looking for ones and play it safe for his hundred. 29 needed from 12 take a single from the first ball. Shiv went for one big hit in the last 3 overs and then settled for the not out.
In reply to Chrissy
ok then....apart from your facial reactions.....i am listening to your inside stories too...
In reply to anandgb
Me pissed. I rolling wid laugh - yuh should see me. When we got dem early wickets, di writing was on di wall - ball moving - no flat track. Shiv lucky Pakistan caan ketch.

If I was the coach I woulda drop Shiv......
He need to reflect!!!!
In reply to BallOil
Same licks - a loss is a loss.
All you have to know about his innings is that he made 107 no on a bowling track and never got MOM.
In reply to Larr Pullo
I think it was done before and the one who did that was targetted by a certain group... You want the New cappo and Coach to try it again?
Oh please. At least Shiv batted the only way he knew how. You cannot say that he bated out of character. Cuz that is the way Shiv bat on every occasion.
In reply to Larr Pullo
Add Sarwan to that list too.
Play two more of Gayle boys and
we will win
In reply to Pacy
The need to do it AGAIN!!!
Look if Shiv had gotten run out going for a tight single NO ONE would be cussing him now, but this not caring what happens at the other end EVEN THOUGH HE KNOWS that LAST MAN DONT BAT OUT IN INTERNATIONAL CRICKET IS BONEHEADED AT BEST!!!!
In reply to carl0002
I don't have a problem with his batting, I have a problem with his running, and the resulting runouts!!!!
In reply to Larr Pullo
After umpteen years and you still calling "yes, no, maybe" all for the same run, someone has to sit you down and have a real long chat about your priorities!!!
Bingo!!
In reply to BallOil
you need to realise that he slowness with which he batted took up all the balls. The #5 batsman on down came in with the runrate needed over 6. They had no time to settle.
In reply to Larr Pullo
If you have the recording just see Chanders when the last wicket fell... His emotions were totally odd... It looked like he was not sure that the match was even over...
I am not sure of Sure was mentally there today...
In reply to Larr Pullo
He runs very hard for his runs but never seems to be running to the danger end. That is no coincidence.
In reply to Larr Pullo
i'm not going to cuss shiv, but i have two problems with his knock today..
the damn run outs and also toward the end he just didn't take charge of the game.
In reply to Pacy
I didn't see him talking to the new batsmen a lot between overs or more importantly between balls. Even brainless Baugh after leaving you stumps exposed to ever ball shouldn't he have gone down the pitch and have a word with him?
In reply to wanchaps
I felt Chanders was not in there today at all... His mind was somewhere else.
In reply to Pacy
He was in it alright but instead of stay on top of the game he was staying on top of his score. Fun and joke aside, he measured his score perfectly to the detriment of the team score.
In reply to wanchaps
Correct!!!
If Shiv plays that dab shot to point to the left of the man there, he runs hard.
If the other batsman play the SAME SHOT, and he at the non striker end, is "yes, no, maybe...."
That not good enough!!!!
In reply to Larr Pullo
You confusing some of these folks here, cuz some complaining about how he batted, when that is how he plays all the time.
But its true though. If you go play like that then your running between the wicket must be excellent. That was not the casde today.
In reply to Larr Pullo
I watching shiv at the non stiker's end and shiv not backing up. Even in the 49th over when he take the single of the first ball, he was at the non striker's end hand akimbo.
