I'm also disappointed in Simmons' score. Hopefully, they both will score better in the second innings.

Good to see Roach getting a five-fer.

Why do you want to start a stupid argument about Barath,I can only guess that its coz he is an Indo from TT.Mortaza is quite lively and at 17 was bowling at speeds above 80 mph,in recent games he regularly clocked close on 90s.Now understand the bloody game before you start talking shit, isn't it the same Barath who opened against Harmisson,Anderson and Broad scoring 123,the same bowlers that took Windies apart. You seem to have forgotten that 14 wickets fell and the wicket could be very helpful to the bowlers. You already want to write off Barath with an arguement perpetuated by people of an anti-Indo persuasion, most of you gave Lil Bravo such a brilliant welcome to the Windies team but is still witch hunting Barath.I have to wonder why,get this in your stupid head,Barath has made runs against all the West Indian pacers,so can you please STFU.

Now that I've appointed myself as your advisor I'll advise that you refrain from making any mention about Indo for a week. It will do a lot for your self confidence.

Any match updates?

analyst-kid 2009-07-04 10:37:53

In reply to mikesiva

The issue I have with Barath is not that a Bangla pacer can trouble him and although he scored 123 against Harmisson, Anderson and Broad the fact remains:

BARATH STRUGGLES AGAINST LIVELY BOWLERS ON LIVELY PITCHES.

both McClean and Roach dismissed Barath cheaply on Bajan pitches this year and the one he scored heavily in the second innings at Weymouth was arguable the slowest pitch here in the island.

Barath has to sort out his problems against short pitched bowling on helpful pitches or else SA,OZ and Pak will eat him alive and the rest will discover his weaknesses against pace.

This is not Guayacara Park anymore.

Roach is a lazy bastard....instead of backing up Edwards and Taylor with his top pace, he is languishing playing for Maple in B'dos' Division One.

He needs to put in some work...hopefully this should propel him into a WI team with an apparently tiring Taylor and injured Edwards.

You still doan get the politics eh? OK , her is your lesson fuh today...

Deo was never going to play against India, so his shot was against Bangla Desh. To cement that spot against Bangladesh, he would have had to play in this A team match.

To avoid that scenario, they kept him in the ODI squd, even though they were never going to play him, just to keep him out of the A team.

Now he is back to square one.... someone who performed marginally good in the A team match will pick up a place, since the mantra is to expose youngsters against the weak Banglas...

and the evil selectors were MEAN and played him in England warm up matches.. where it was the worst condition a cricketer can imagine to play cricket in. Then they use that to rule him out of play in ENG... booo fackin hoooo....
