Teh tenor on this board is definitely anti Bravo to a certain extent. However I just listened to an Interview with him in India, I sense this man is liked. Why does it seem that the worl at large seems to like the folk we do not. Is it that they are smarter than us and have no irons to grind. I think so.

I agree with you. He never seems to come across as haughty. On the contrary, he's well-liked.
Although his comments here during the Senior players' strike could have left much to interpretation then, and the occassional injudicious shot when seemingly well set, could open him up for criticism, he's however a committed and enthusiastic cricketer.
