CCC beat Windwards by 82 runs

Kingstown, St. Vincent, April 6 - (www.bcacricket.org) - Combined Campuses & Colleges (CCC) beat the Windward Islands by 82 runs shortly before tea on the third day of their sixth round WICB first-class match at Arnos Vale today.

Chasing 184 to win, the Windwards were bowled out for 101 in 44.1 overs.

Or it just might be a name they try to forget, after Trinidad and Tobago pacer sliced through their top order to leave the visitors nursing their wounds after a 145-run defeat yesterday on Day Three of their Regional Four-day tournament fixture at Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain.

Thomas, Hamilton defy Guyana and keep Leewards afloat

ST JOHN’S, Antigua, (CMC) – An unbroken half-century partnership between Devon Thomas and Jahmar Hamilton frustrated Guyana and kept Leeward Islands in with a chance of victory in their sixth round Regional Four-Day match here yesterday.Set 279 for victory at the Vivian Richards Cricket Ground, the Leewards slumped to 28 for three before Thomas and Hamilton came together in a 73-run, fourth wicket stand to pilot the hosts to 101 for three at the close of the penultimate day.
Thomas has so far struck 38 from 59 balls with six fours while Hamilton has been equally position with his 34 off 66 balls, including five boundaries.
