Jamaica 79-2 (2nd innings), lead CCC by 100, WICB 4-day,
Bridgetown, Barbados, April 12 - (www.bcacricket.org) - Jamaica, with a first innings lead of 21, were 79 for two off 38 overs in their second innings - an overall lead of 100 - at the close of play on the second day of their seventh and final round WICB first-class match against Combined Campuses & Colleges (CCC) at 3Ws Oval here today.

The not out batsmen were Jermaine Blackwood on 23 and Marlon Samuels, three.

Nkrumah Bonner was caught at second slip by Kyle Corbin off left-arm medium-pacer Raymon Reifer for 11 (22-1).

 

Leewards 54-2 (2nd innings), trail Barbados by 178, 



North Sound, Antigua, April 12 - (www.bcacricket.org) - The Leeward Islands, with a first innings deficit of 232, were 54 for two  off 21 overs in their second innings - still trailing by 178 runs - at the close of play on the second day of their seventh and final round WICB first-class match against Barbados at the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Ground here today.

The not out batsmen were captain Kieran Powell on 23 and Devon Thomas, nought.

 

Johnson, Barnwell keep Guyana steady
 
Georgetown, Guyana, CMC – Captain Leon Johnson and the experienced Christopher Barnwell hit half-centuries to rescue Guyana and frustrate Trinidad and Tobago, on the second day of their final round Regional Four-Day match here Saturday.

At the close, Guyana were 247 for seven, still 48 runs adrift of Trinidad and Tobago’s first innings total of 294 at the Guyana National Stadium.
