Windwards in control at Arnos Vale Stadium


Windward Islands Volcanoes took control of their WICB Professional Cricket League match against Jamaica Franchise at the Arnos Vale Stadium here yesterday.
Replying to Jamaica Franchise's 204 all out, the Windwards were 289 for seven at the close on the second day of their sixth-round match.
Leading the way for the Windwards was André Fletcher, who will enter today's third day unbeaten on a solid 102. Tyrone Theophile made 55. Jamaica's best bowler yesterday was David Bernard Jr, who has so far taken four for 41.


Barbados Pride  vs Trinidad  & Tobago Red Force 


Bridgetown, Barbados, February 14 - (www.bcacricket.org) - Barbados Pride, with a first innings lead of 57, were 15 without loss off three overs in their second innings - an overall lead of 72 - at the close of play on the second day of their sixth round WICB PCL first-class match against Trinidad & Tobago Red Force at Kensington Oval today.
The not out batsmen were captain Kraigg Brathwaite on five and Kyle Corbin, four.

Guyana tighten the noose around the Hurricanes

EVEN though the Leeward Islands Hurricanes’ off-spinner Rahkeem Cornwall took seven wickets, the Guyana Jaguars will be pushing for victory inside three days against his team in their sixth-round WICB Professional Cricket League Regional 4-Day match.The Hurricanes, batting a second time, closed day two on 36 for 1, still 92 runs away from making the Jaguars bat again.
