Jamaica vs Windward Islands

KINGSTON, Jamaica (CMC) – Champion left-arm spinner Nikita Miller snatched his 24th five-wicket haul in first class cricket to fire Jamaica Scorpions to a stunning come-from-behind 41-run victory over hapless Windward Islands Volcanoes here yesterday.
With the visitors set a mere 106 to win at Sabina Park, captain Miller scythed through their innings with five for 22 to send them tumbling for 64 all out on the final day of the second round game in the Regional Four-Day Championship, in which 18 wickets fall.

Trinidad & Tobago vs Barbados

Port-of-Spain, Trinidad, November 21 - (www.bcacricket.org) - Barbados Pride beat Trinidad & Tobago Red Force by 292 runs shortly after lunch on the fourth and final day of their Digicel Regional PCL first-class second round match at Queen's Park Oval today.

Set 392 to win and starting the day on 57 for three off 21 overs, Trinidad & Tobago were bowled out for 99 in 53 overs.

Kyle Hope, a Barbadian, topscored with 26 as opener.

Yannic Cariah was the only other double-figure contributor with 25 at No. 3.

Red Force again batted without the injured opening batsman Jeremy Solozano.

 


Leeward Islands vs Guyana

Hurricanes shocked the Jaguars by executing the highest successful run chase in the history of the modern first class championship, as defeated two-time reigning champions Guyana Jaguars by four wickets here yesterday.
Set what appeared to be an improbable victory target of 369 on Sunday’s penultimate day, Hurricanes batted imperiously to reach their target at 5:07 pm 0n the final day with 21 balls left in the contest at Warner Park, to register their first win over Jaguars in 2-1/2 years.
The monumental effort was spearheaded by opener Montcin Hodge who stroked 114 – his second first class hundred – while Jamaican Nkrumah Bonner hammered an up tempo 82 off 114 balls and opener and captain, Kieran Powell, 54.
