PCL

Barbados vs Jamaica

Yet another day’s play was severely affected by weather conditions as Jamaica Scorpions and Barbados Pride seem destined for a draw in the Digicel Regional four-day clash at Sabina Park.
Heading into today’s final day, the Pride are 153-4 in reply to the Scorpions first-innings total of 224.
Left-handed opener Anthony Alleyne, who made a big century in the previous round against Trinidad & Tobago Red Force, has top-scored so far for the Pride with a pleasant knock of 66.

Trinidad&Tobago vs Leeward Islands

The weather intervened in a significant way again yesterday to reduce the Trinidad and Tobago Red Force’s clash with the Leeward Islands Hurricanes to an academic exercise.
Two full sessions were lost on day three of the four-day Digicel Regional 4-Day fixture yesterday after play was called off at 3 p.m. because of a wet outfield following afternoon showers.
At that stage, the Red Force were yet to complete their first innings, and weather-permitting, they will resume this morning on 287 for eight. While only the first scheduled session of play was possible, it was time enough for the Red Force batsmen to miss further opportunities to find form and build confidence.

Windward Islands vs Guyana

A 104-run seventh wicket stand between Anthony Bramble (58) and Raymond Reifer (52) rallied Guyana Jaguars to a 27-run lead over the Windwards Volcanoes despite four-wicket hauls from Mervin Matthew and Delorn Johnson on a rain affected day two of the Digicel Regional four-day First-Class Day/Night cricket contest which ended at 11:00hrs last night at the Daren Sammy Cricket ground.

The Jaguars reached 219 in reply to the 192 made by the Volcanoes who were 90-4 in their second innings enjoying a slim lead of 63. Liam Sebastien on one and Sunil Ambris on 28 were the not out batsmen after pacer Keon Joseph took two wickets in the first over and another in his second spell.
