Gibson: Gayle is not student of the game

WICB Expose has posted minutes of a WICB meeting (PDF) in July of last year, in which Ottis Gibson made a report to the board following the 2010 ICC World Twenty20. The report shows Gibson as highly critical of then captain Chris Gayle, noting that Gayle "was not a natural leader" and "is not a student of the game and lacks tactical awareness on the field".

Gibson's report states further that there is "no evidence of leadership qualities among the senior players" and proposes that in the future the board should "select team on character".
