Sri Lanka Cricket has once again foregone Test matches to accommodate its players playing in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
According to the Future Tours Program (FTP) Sri Lanka were due to tour West Indies in April 2013 and play a series of two Tests, 3 ODIs and 2 Twenty20Is.

But following a request from the West Indies Cricket Board that the series would clash with the sixth edition of IPL in April 2013 and the non-availability of its players, SLC which also has players involved in the IPL has agreed to forego the two Tests and instead play a one-day tri-series.

The series which will be held from June 13-25 would also involve India as the third team,
Sri Lanka is due to travel to West Indies at the end of the ICC Champions trophy in England.
