Red Stripe 2003 Schedule Released

Red Stripe Bowl

The West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) has released the schedule for this year's Red Stripe Bowl one-day competion, which starts on October 1.

The tournament has been split into two zones -- to be played in Jamaica and Antigua -- made up of ten teams. In Zone A (Jamaica), the teams are Rest of the Leewards, Trinidad & Tobago, Canada, Windward Islands and Jamaica. In Zone B (Antigua), the teams are Guyana, Windies U-19, Barbados, Leewards Champions and UWI. The full schedule follows:

ZONE A (Jamaica):

1st October, 2003: Trinidad & Tobago v. Rest of Leewards; Umpires: Eddie Nicholls & Dalton Holder (Standby: Mervyn Jones). Venue: U.W.I.

2nd October, 2003: Canada v. Windward Islands; Umpires: Clyde Duncan & Basil Morgan (Standby: Clancy Mack); Venue: Jamalco.
