Windies 'A'

A quickfire half century from Runako Morton and three-wicket hauls from Jermaine Lawson and Duane Bravo combined to lead the West Indies 'A' team to a crushing win over British Universities on Monday.

Morton, who has already scored a century on the tour, smashed 57 from 70 balls as the West Indies 'A' team racked up 225 for six from 50 overs. Donovan Pagon (46), captain Darren Ganga (41) and wicketkeeper Keith Hibbert (39 not out) also chipped in.

In reply, the British Universities found the going touch and succumbed to 140 all out from 44.2 overs. Jamaican pacer Lawson grabbed 3-13 from 7 overs while Bravo took 2-28 from 7. Spinner Suleiman Benn took two wickets.

The West Indies 'A' team next take on Sri Lanka in a limited overs match under floodlights at Hove.
