Windies 'A' Crush British Universities

A quickfire half century from Runako Morton and three-wicket
hauls from Jermaine Lawson and Duane Bravo combined to lead the
West Indies 'A' team to a crushing win over British Universities on
Monday.
Morton, who has already scored a century on the tour, smashed 57
from 70 balls as the West Indies 'A' team racked up 225 for six
from 50 overs. Donovan Pagon (46), captain Darren Ganga (41) and
wicketkeeper Keith Hibbert (39 not out) also chipped in.
In reply, the British Universities found the going touch and
succumbed to 140 all out from 44.2 overs. Jamaican pacer Lawson
grabbed 3-13 from 7 overs while Bravo took 2-28 from 7. Spinner
Suleiman Benn took two wickets.
The West Indies 'A' team next take on Sri Lanka in a limited overs
match under floodlights at Hove.
