Simmons needs to pretend it's a T20 match...he's come in with just 20 overs to go.

Maybe Simmons should be at the top of the order instead of Kirk.

This ODI cricket, Simmons and Edwards are lucky to be selected.

Edwards is lucky to be at the top,in fact he shouldn't be there.Take your pick from Walton,Lewis or Fletcher...before Edwards.

A real batsman would have whipped that ball backward of square the Dessie or Greenidge way.

Simmons has been selected from his T20 performance, not his previous 50 ocrs stats, yet allyuh haven't learn, any player can replace another..

Both Darren and Ramdin were turning the strike over, when darren got out Ramdin went into his shell and Simmons did not pick up the pace.
With Simmons and most T20 stars, it hit the ball or get out, they should watch Dhonibatting.

Is Dwayne Smith no longer being considered for selection?

It wasnt that bad an innings by Simmons... sure he wasnt at his fluent best but he scored 40 runs at a strike rate of about 65.

Thats not terrible for ODI cricket. He actually ensured we didn't lose a flurry of wickets at a crucial stage but with that said, I would prefer to see him at the top of the order with Gayle.

The power down the order is expected to come from Polly and DJ Bravo
