Who owns the Tridents?

Larr Pullo 2014-08-22 20:21:50

Isn't it they who will get the money from the IPL for the players??

Here's another question. Let's say a player like Pollard plays in 3 T20 teams. IPL, CPL, and Bigbash. What if all three teams win and go to the Champions league, and the IPL team wants Pollard? Do they have to pay off the other two teams? lol lol

This who T20 thing is a joke....

The regulations are clear.

"CLT20 regulations state that when a player elects to play for their 'away' team, that team must pay the 'home' team $150,000 compensation per player. A 'home' team is classified as a team from the country a player is eligible to represent in international cricket."

Pollard plays with the MI. The MI are in the CL/playing for a spot. Anither OF Pollard's team is in the CL - the tridents.

What am i missing?

PS: i was not asking whether they can pay more than one team for a play. I am asking whether they can pay more than one team for players. They have already paid a SL club for Malinga. Are they allowed to pay another team , e.g. the Tridents for another player (not Malinga) haha
big grin

As long as dey want to use a player dat has qualified for his home team dey have to pay.

MI have 3 players dat dey have to pay to use. If dey hadn let go of Smith dey wudda have to pay de Tridents twice.

Having read the regulations as stated above, the fact that there is still confusion in some people's minds means that there is a comprehension problem with some people.
