I believe that a majority of West Indians are not comfortable with the title great associated with Shiv. That said, Shiv is a simple genius.

Chanderpaul already know he is a no win situation with regards to acceptance from a few...the same few dat seh Kanhai is not great due to him nat having the STATS and entertaining the fans was never a requirement....FF to now...Shiv have the stats they requested earlier and now he too boring and selfish suh he nah great!!!

I'll tell you Chanderpaul is not my favorite batsman to watch but as a West Indian cricketer having done so much in the dark ages of West Indies cricket...well phew!
Forget kudos, some respect at the minimum is due.
