Shiv Chanderpaul THE RHYTHMIC

For an unorthodox player, he developed a rhythm that worked for him and gave him better balance at the crease, with the gift of timing to boot.

Why should there be an argument whether Shiv deserves to be in this company of batsmen or not? He has rightfully earned his greatness. Just for comparison. He has 3 hundreds in England. Sangakkara has 2. He has 2 in South Africa. Sangakkara has 1. He has 2 in NZ, he has scored runs tons of runs in India, which is outstanding for a batsman from the West Indies, considering the fact that the likes of Brian Lara and Ricky Ponting have struggled in India.
