Shiv at 40 is better than anything we have had since, well...... Anything since 1994! The only person who seems to be getting there is a dude who bats like him -not Lara, him- go figure! Our bowlers are still brittle but bowling very well -thanks Mushi and Ambi.
Finally, we still can't even catch a cold in flu season.

Guys that bat like Sobers, Viv and Lara don't come along everyday. That is why they are great. Plodders and pedestrian type players do. So instantly Ambi has transformed the bowling eh? But the fielding not so much? Very interesting comments

Batters like Shiv and Dravid does come along one in a life time! Few test cricketers have 30 tons, remember Shiv is one of them.

A best Shiv is a very good plodder who values his wicket. That combination does come along every day either but Shiv cannot be deemed a great player notwithstanding his great numbers. Who is Mushi?
