West Indies Women will be aiming to complete a clean sweep of their One-Day International (ODI) series against New Zealand when the two sides meet in the fourth and final fixture here today.

"West Indies cricket is not about the administrators, it is really about the players."

Something that was evidently lost on some of the former self-serving, limelight-craving administrators whose names and images were always in the media!
"But we think that it must be a meritocracy basis and that you have to earn your keep to get into the different categories,"

A welcome new paradigm, where the players-regardless of status-must bring more to the table than just 'intangibles', 'vibes' and "commitment"!!

Entrenched mediocrity will no longer be rewarded so expect even more 'retirements'!

Hope this signals a new day for West Indies cricket
