long overdue.. if everyone with a suspect action is being reported
In reply to FuzzyWuzzy
A media advisory has recently been released on this matter.
......
Under the CLT20 Suspected Illegal Bowling Action policy, if a player receives a report while on the warning list, the player shall be suspended from bowling for the remainder of the tournament and from bowling in any matches organised by the BCCI until such date as he is cleared.
In reply to Andy99
IF NARINE IS THROUGING WHAT ABOUT ASHWIN
In reply to rumhead24
Ashwin's action looks much cleaner than marine's to me. Narine's action was never pure. Probably better than other's like Shillingford and Ajmal but certainly not the purest.
Mr Narine was reported by on-field umpires Anil Chaudhary and Chettithody Shamshuddin, along with third umpire Kumar Dharamsena at the conclusion of the match. The report specifically relates to the quicker ball bowled by Mr. Narine.
Under the CLT20 Suspected Illegal Bowling Action policy, Mr. Narine may request an Official Assessment from the BCCI Suspect Bowling Action Committee.
Mr. Narine has been placed on the warning list and may continue to be selected to play and bowl for his team in a match.
Under the CLT20 Suspected Illegal Bowling Action policy, if a player receives a report while on the warning list, the player shall be suspended from bowling for the remainder of the tournament and from bowling in any matches organised by the BCCI until such date as he is cleared.
A player suspended from bowling may continue to be selected to play in matches, however he will not be entitled to bowl.
Come in BatQuake.
And please don't bother to mention the 'fact' that the IPL is a pappy show and therefore any pelting call made under its auspices is void of merit.
It was only a matter of time

Then mi scrutinize a little clip a him bowling...
Tell mi if him flinging here
Memba now...flinging is not about bent elbow...is about straightening...
Hey...
In reply to Commie
Cricket will get boring now.
I thought with the
Narines, Amjals, Shillinford etc
pelting their trade it was
very interesting and competitive.
In reply to Ridge
So the rules should be ignored? Changed?
In reply to spider
The rules were never enforced, for
example Murali pelting for 20 odd
years and got away with it.
In reply to Ridge
Murali was tested.
The charge was laid by on-field umpires Anil Chaudhary and Chettihody Shamshuddin along with third umpire Kumar Dharmasena and specifically relates to Narine's quicker ball.
In reply to spider
Didnt Narine go through a test in Aus some time back? While it is not a very clean action I dont see action bad to be called at all.
In reply to gvenkat
In reply to spider
It solved nothing because he never
stopped pelting.
They were afraid to call him afterwards.
If the Australian Prime Minister (Howard) was umpire, Murali will have never bowl a cricket
ball again.
In reply to Pacy
Ajmal was tested in 2009 too. Actions deteriorate. Or the testing system might not have been up to mark. I doubt Ajmal's action could have deteriorated to such an extent that he was almost three times the tolerable limit.
In reply to spider
After he was cleared in 2009, he taught all was fine with him and he would not be reported again suh he pushed de envelope!!!
I waiting to see who will report Ashwin...
In reply to WestDem
So he went from below fifteen to 40? Unlikely I feel.
BTW where is batquake?
In reply to spider

Comrade, I now getting the news. Narper and the rest of the Narine cabal didn't find it to be decency and courteous to call me to share the news about Narine.
Phew!!!
In reply to BatQuake
I'm guessing this is good news?
Well the cricket house is being cleaned, will the WICB risk selecting Shillingford again?
As much as I sympathize with Narine, I see this as a positive trend. Cricket has rules. I have always been uneasy about these suspect actions being overlooked. Narine needs to clean up his action and return. If he can do so successfully, power to him. If not, he does not deserve to survive as an international cricketer. The only caveat here is that I hope the standard is evenly applied to all, including those from the most powerful teams.
