SA should not pay them their contracted fees.
They should call the tour off instead.
WICB should not be allowed to get away with the farce.
WICB should have had this problem wrapped up and its team in India already to complete its scheduled tour.
Which tells me Cameron and co did not have a clue what was going on and don't have a clue now as to what to do.

If WI sends a scab team RSA should

SA should ask for assurance that a team will come and complete the tour. That is it!!!

Yes. WI Under 15 team would be the best choice. They would not create issues and stand up to WICB.

Dude, there are plenty of players who want to play. Dwayne bravo and pollard aren't the end of the world. Really.
Any of those 90 fc players will be available, as would the others. Many from the india tour will also be available. Watch the ride

You can easily find a 15 from that 90. No dispute there.. But look where the most committed and WICB pro Sammy and Roach are in just a few years?
Instead if WICB can throw in the U-15 team they can actually play them for much longer right? Afterall it is about ensuring a XI on the ground in Maroon.

Actually it is and was all about the commercial contract money and the fees for showing up.
WICB was not really into the players as such until this debacle reared its head.

Even today if SA board agrees to have anyone representing WICB they would be calling for Reifer to lead the team with a few U19 and U15 members. That is only so much they care.

Cancel the tour....
Some of the striking players wouldn't even want to play for Windies considering they just made a ton of money playing in that SA T20 tournament....

One would normally think that ANY kind of match practice in SA...even in the dreaded T20 form of the game...prior to a series in SA would be viewed as beneficial.
Ah well....
