Gwan Pakistan!!!!
In reply to Chrissy
He also records a century in every 3.5 test matches, which is better than Lara, Tendulkar and Ponting!
3 hundred on the trot agains OZ, 1st since Sutcliffe in the early 1900s.
In reply to StumpCam
I took a photo of Brian, Younis and Dwayne Bravo at the WIPA Awards ceremony back in 2005. It was posted at cc back then.
In reply to Chrissy
Nice batting..three tons in a row
is no mean feat and against OZ at that..
In reply to hubert
Scoring rate - 81.95 - against OZ - Waaaaah hahahahahaa. Meanwhile we have men posing as greats who cyan score fast against Bangladesh.
In reply to StumpCam
He is so damn fit, he ran 4 runs after batting for hours in the heat.
In reply to StumpCam
He is so damn fit, he ran a four going to the danger end even after batting for hours in the heat.
In reply to spider
Very true.
In reply to Chrissy
Did not notice the SR at all. That is phenomenal against a good attack. This guy has been treated badly by his own Board too but refused to quit and is proving a point.
In reply to hubert
Well said. Now should Ali on 90* go for the ton today or wait for tomorrow - four plus overs left.

Even though he hasn't hit a high percentage of boundaries in this inning, he manipulate the ball in to the gaps very well to keep the scoreboard ticking! That is what is lacking from our players!!!
In reply to Chrissy
And Azhar Ali scores his ton -

I cannot tire of watching Australia miserably run after cricket balls in the outfield in scorching heat.
Well done YK
Younis Khan, like Shiv, is the last of that 90's generation of greats. Mahela left most recently. Younis on his way too.
In reply to dale_staple
Why yuh use Shiv name? Yuh are just gonna be blame fuh upping de blood pressure of the Professor!
In reply to Chrissy
leave shiv alone, i know u throwing words at him...
Look out for the test batsman with the most runs.. coming to your scene soon
In reply to dale_staple
Younis Khan is certainly a class act who seems to get better with age. He is one of the few to score a triple, something that the grat Sachen did not do. Considering how long he has been the mainstay of Pakistan's batting lineup and still is, he must be considered one of the greats.
In reply to Chrissy
this bannus is real bad mon.
In reply to jelfew
He has time to repeat di triple here
In reply to Chrissy
The frightening thing for Aussies is that their ordinary spinners got some turn. Imagine when the Pakistan spinners get their "turn" on the pitch? DWL. Aussies will be raising the white flag soon.
Incentive based runs in OZ skin

In reply to gvenkat
See ms like he has abandoned WI?

Younis mek nuff runs against Mindia
So will Pakistan give Australia about 600 runs to chase. That's what I'd do since 1-0 is the first series win against Oz in 20 years.
Gwan Younis - step up do batting dis session.
In reply to Chrissy
I say at least 600 and give them 15 overs to bat this evening.
Notice how Younis changed his style to meet the situation, yesterday he was striking in the 70's, today, when Mitch and Siddle were bending their back, he choose survival instead, look for him to step it up in this session.
In reply to Emir
150* fi Younis making him di record holder for all Pakistan batsmen who have scored 150+ - dis was #10.
Younis may well be the best Pakistani batsman of all time.
By the way he did score a ton on debut - second innings.
8,000 test runs fi Younis
In reply to Chrissy
About 24 runs to a declaration...12 for Misbah and 12 for Younis...u think?
In reply to Chrissy
Statistically he is the best Pak batter of all time, but as we both know, stats isn't the only measure. During Javed Miandiad's time, the quality of bowling was arguably the greatest ever, including the Windies great fast bowlers.
At any rate, Younis sits in the top 5
Here's my list of the top 5 Pak batters
1. Javed Miandiad
2. Haniff Mohammed
3. Inzamam Ul Haq
4. Younis Khan
5. Yousef Mohammed formerely known as Yousef Youhanna
Allyuh see how people arriving in droves - lawks test cricket sweet.
Bat on Younis - double ton - sweet!!
watch men beating di gate nuh - damn!!!
In reply to Chrissy
The stadium is packed
TEST CRICKET IS ALIVE AND WELL
On dis day in 1976 Javed also scored a double ton.
100 fi cappo Misbah-ul-Haq.
Dis is murderation - dem OZ men in shock - sorry Pup - I like yuh but dis sweet too bad.
Timely ton that for Misbah as well.
Shabash
In reply to dale_staple
Dat was one saff dismissal
Don't miss dis session

Declaration coming at 600 - watch di ride.
Younis bowled by Siddle - missed di ball - magnificent innings dat...another great 213 innings to remember forever.
Declaration 570/6
14 overs left - so leh we say OZ will face 11.
Dis done
Great catch dat keeper - Imran Khan (version 2) strikes - Rogers departs.
21/1
OZ in deep doo doo 79/3
Predict their score - I seh 226
Lawks Pup you were looking so good - clataaaaaaaax - middle stump uprooted. Gawn fi 47
164/6
Maiden test fifty fi Mitchell Marsh
Pak should not enforce the follow on
In reply to Emir
Well they don't need to - a draw is still a series win and there is time to win this outright.
In reply to Chrissy
The bowlers need a rest, the batters can take on 30 overs, get 150 or so and set a 450- 500 total, in this way they are totally assured of a victory and at minimum a draw.
If the FO is enforced and the Aussies get to 450, then it leaves a tricky chase in the last two sessions in day 5 and anything can happen.
In reply to Emir
They made the correct decision. They must have this series in di bag.
In reply to Chrissy
fuss good prediction in a year
congratulations
In reply to Chrissy
correct
plus by not losing more than two wkts on days 3 they can go hard early on day 4
In reply to cricketmygame
They sure did - record books mash up.
Maxwll departs on review -two down.
In reply to Chrissy
I do not see them lasting the end of the day. The ball spinning and the variation in bounce is very stark. Aussies...shockingly....do not have the technique to play spin of this calibre. Pup is their only hope and he is woefully out of form.
By the way Ms. U liked that record tying 100?
In reply to Chrissy
Can you believe Willow Cricket here in the USA has booted this Test match to show India vs SL- what utter madness
WOW WHAT A BALL TO OUT CLARKE!!!!
In reply to dale_staple
Where are you getting live video coverage?
Emir there are sources on the internet. Look and you will find. That is all.
In reply to dale_staple
Well di record nebba bruk so I'll tek dat.
Warner gawn.
Dis done done done.
In reply to dale_staple
Indeed -by di way Younis' immortal innings was di first against OZ in 40 years and now there are three in a two test series.
last time two batsmen were immortals in the same match
In reply to Chrissy
I think Misbah missed a trick, he declared one hour too late, as it stands now, it is not outside the realm of possibility for Aus to hold on for a draw- the two batters in is looking good- using their feet well and the bottom half has shown they can block decently well
Interesting day tomorrow and I hop that extra hour that Misbah batted on after lunch does not come back to haunt Pakistan, after all, given the way Pak has played only a 2-0 scoreline can reflect it, a 1-0 won[t do it.
In reply to Emir
You don't expect Pakistan to tek dem six wickets in a full day.
Look Pakistan is leading di series 1-0. They have nothing to lose.
In reply to Chrissy
Wait....Pakistan won a test already?? WTF!
Pakistan may go uop 2 - 0?
R u serious??
Was Misbah's the fastest tonever ahead of Viv's or he missed it by one ball??
@RMc@
In reply to SpudsMcKenzie
Misbah tied Viv's record of a ton in 56 balls - broke the record for the fastest test match 50 and yes they are giving OZ one hell of a beating in this two test series.
One done and it is unlikely dat OZ can save dis one.
In reply to Emir
I do expect them to take the remaining 6 wickets but in cricket you just never know. In addition, a 1-0 win won't give them 3rd spot and it won't be reflective of their domination in the history books.
A 2-0 score line is there for the taking and as cappo, I would have declared at lunch.
In reply to Emir
Two wickets to go -gwan Pakistan - dis done before tea
Clataaaaaaaaaaaax - nine down
Pakistan win 2-0 - they deserved this. A fabulous series. Pakistan moves to #3
In reply to Chrissy
Yep, they did it, I cannot think of such a great series victory in a long time real happy for Pakistan, guess they will now be "promoted to the 1st tier" since they are ranked # 3
Will the Aussies be demote to the 2nd tier?
