I think they should try a new guy who appears to have the talent and abilty... perhaps Evin Lewis, Carter, or Dowrich. I hate to say deo or Kirk should come back. But also Fudda has done decent recently so he has a chance too.

Gayle has batted well in SA and many say he can't bat....
I would just take a promising, young, specialist batsman and take my chances....

If there is any Smith going to SA, it will have to be Dwayne Smith the all-rounder.
Devon Smith will not survive Steyn, Morkel or Philander.
Dwayne Smith will manhandle Steyn and Morkel but not philander - his swinging ball will take Dwayne every time.
I believe these two guys are in the running for that spot.
