Cricket unlikely in bim today: under flood watch
In reply to FuzzyWuzzy
good news for Jamaica...with our batting I was expecting a cut-arse.
2 days might still be enough.
And nuff rain around.
In reply to Commie
Not a ball will bowl. Unless Chrissy say so.
In reply to nick2020
.....or VOR!
If both VOR and Chrissy unite, the whole Caribbean getting a dry season come early.

Hey, no bull !
In reply to FuzzyWuzzy
Fuzzy,
You in Bim ? What's your assessment ? St. Philip can sometimes be dry when the rest of the island is soaked....
In reply to camos & Outswinger
During the rain break I suspect entertainment will be provided by either the Merrymen or the Gaylads-great singing groups, both of them!
In reply to Outswinger
so you from St P, you are from Empire cricket club
Oh Lord! Poor Powen
Dat fellow could drown in a teaspoonful of water, I can't imagine what a flood will do to him.
In reply to carl0002
this is not nice
In reply to tc1
So its not nice to express concern?
I see people seriously rip others on here telling dem bout dem family and u upset over a little expressed concern.
In reply to tc1
How you arrive at that ? But you are correct on one statement. I know Lucas Street well. I actually also know the old Windward ground next door too, as well as the old St. Catherine ground. But you know, Bim is way too small to be divided the way some folks talk.
Anyway, you did not give me a layman's take on the chances for cricket in St. P. It should also be windy up there. Did you say you were in Bim ? Answers please.
In reply to Outswinger
Not in st Farlup but i can say not a ball will bowl today. Its been rain nonstop since last night. Schools have been given the day off because of potential flooding island wide
Yes you silly fools.
It is not rainy season it is the wishes of your perceived goat mouths
And we you wonder why our cricket is so poor and our region is in this mess.
Ignorance is bliss - allyuh prefer guzzum to science. It is backward, boring and stupid. KYSs collectively!
In reply to Outswinger
I am in ny/ nj area. I heard about the Famers' boys at windward and a retired Dennis Atkinson swinging the MSG
In reply to tc1
Yes he used to swing it big from the Congo Road end especially if memory serves, I was too young then to know much about it though. But I used to ride past there on my bike often. Hensley Robinson used to swing it big there too, if you know whom I am talking about.
In reply to Outswinger
Robinson played briefly at Maple with Keith B, john S, Glenroy S, Billet & Luther Francis.
Fuz and the Trail know
In reply to FuzzyWuzzy
So, what's the prediction for today?
In reply to mikesiva
looking like a wash out again. Rain pouring bad. was out on the road and had to head back home.
In reply to mikesiva
Not a ball will bowl barring a Chrissy intervention.
Dis match done done done.
In reply to nick2020
Dat is not cool ! If rain still pelting and the sun is not out this is toast. I'm trying to goat mout de weather but alas, I have no power !
In reply to Outswinger
What about today?
I have a few Jamaicans and Bajans in my fantasy team, so I need them to at least take the field....
In reply to mikesiva
Not much rain forecast for today. Not much fell since yesterday afternoon. it's a matter of the outfield draining now, some early morning/afternoon sunshine needed .
In reply to mikesiva
Bright and sunny.
Edit: I take that back. North sunny. South cloudy.
In reply to nick2020
intermittent light rain in central Barbados.
In reply to nick2020
Is the game in the North?
In reply to carl0002
