Always heard he was a vooper and I doubted them then...
Hmm they may have had a point yu know..
Don't this fugger look at these hapless numbers from these players he's touting..
In his times it was all politics, but we had so much talent...
Now he is eliminating good players for obvious bad ones..cause they younger???
If these yung'uns cyah take curry goat wickets or mek curry goat runs...is international wickets and runs they go mek?
What a big pussy...

Not fair to Lloyd.
A little respect goes a long way.

Which good players did he eliminate? And who are the obvious bad ones?
You can be more specific here.
In reply to Tagwa1
Called it ever since he made that comment on Blackwood v Johnson.
I notice Dukes has been quite on the proceedings.
In reply to Commie
Holder to lead. WHF must this respect be based on Commie? Lloyd coda bat and captain?
Holder can barely get into a B'dos team and his regular pick to WI is very subjective at best.
Respect for Llyod's cricket and leadership of WI cricket does not negate baseless and poor decisions in selecting a team.
Why so quick to get rid of senior players who had all right to make the stand they took.
In reply to Commie
Lloyd was always a company man bro. Uncle Tom wid ICC. battylicker wid WICB. and doant lewwe talk bout selling out the GCB for $200,000 pieces of silver

I've put the case against Lloyd but I will always show him respect.
He has done more for our cricket than all of us on here put together. Doesnt earn him a free pass but it does mean we can steer clear of name calling.
In reply to Tagwa1
Tagwa-Clive Lloyd is only the chairman of the selectors he is not the only selector
Some of you guys did the same with Butts--please stop calling him that name, have some respect

I hear you , my take is that ALL THIS IS
ABOUT BUDGETARY CONSIDERATIONS . THIS IS
AS CLEAR AS DAYLIGHT . REMEMBER THEY SAY
THAT THEY ARE BROKE .
My take is that Sammy ; Bravo & Gayle saw
the writing on the wall , so they opted out . This aint about winning , this is about , according to them staying afloat .
None of the youngsters are going to command the salaries that Gayle ; Sammy &
Bravo commanded . Sooner rather than later
they are going to tell us exactly what I have stated .
Defeats are going to be explained , that the Team is in a rebuilding Process . You
seem to have forgotten that those in the
governance of Cricket in the Region are much better than Machiavelli .

That is a vague statement.
Name the good players. What have they done for WI cricket since 2000?
If they are so "good", how come WI cricket is still in the dumps? Do you know with these same "good players" WI cricket has been demoted to the second tier system?
How long has the WI been ranked below 5th place with these same "good players"?
Do you want these same "good players" to be playing for the WI team for the next Five years? At what point do you want these young players to enter the WI team and be a permanent fixture? Before you answer that, understand that these so-called "good players" are in their thirties and beyond...
These "good players" has not advance Windies cricket at all.

Totally agree with you

Good players rank 8 out of 9 teams

TTCB is the culprit, they sacked Ramdin sending a strong message that the Indian rebels, should not captain any team in the region.
