I didn't think he would look so great against great bowling. He's still good for runs against most attacks and since we are second tier, he should have it easier going forward.

Chanderpaul has to get his motor in full stride - time is not on his side if he want to brek Lara's record and up his Average. So far his average is heading south and it looks like it not going to stop anytime soon.

He should have stayed home an d wait for England tour. I hope Steyn doh knock de old man down...that would be very unfair of Steyn - picking on a senior citizen for no good reason. lol

So far his average is heading south? Based on one match?

Yup.

So far his before this test his average was 53.10...

Guess where it's at after this "one match" you alluded to. 52.74

If that is not heading south - then I need my head checked and by the looks of it , my head is well in Sync with my surroundings.

It only take 1 game for an over 36 yo batsman to get old, if he fails in this series he will fail against England

Time march on.

He will never fail against England. If there is one team who gets they mojo in Sync when playing England is the Windies.

Maybe it is because of their colonialistic attitude that brings out the demons in the WI cricket - to beat the pants off of them and hold no prisoners attitude. We haven't been doing it lately though. But who knows - things could change next year in the Caribbean with a young and determine mindset.
