Port Elizabeth - A blistering knock of 64 runs from 40 balls by Andre Russell helped the West Indies to a one-wicket win over South Africa in the fourth one day international at St George's Park on Sunday.

Russell's heroics came in the dying stages of the match as he led his side to the victory target of 263 with nine balls to spare to finally get a win in the series for the visitors.

Coming to the middle with the match seemingly over as a contest with the West Indies 166 for six in the 37th over, Russell struck five fours and five sixes during his match-winning performance.

The victory was welcome relief for the Caribbean outfit after they had come into the match 3-0 down.
