It does not matter to me whether Shiv fails or not...to me it will not diminish his greatness..but to see you take so much joy in the failures of one of the WI great cricket servants is sad...and I single you out because you present yourself as having WI cricket at heart when indeed you are just as insular and prejudiced as those you so despise...

But I guess you deserve the happiness after all you have waited for 20 yrs for his demise ...but if it were a lesser team you and your boys would have conspired again...smh

one has to use quantifiable metrics and by them he is great..

I agree. Shiv's skills are diminishing slowly but surely. I think he has perhaps a year or less at test level. I expect to hear he is retiring sooner rather than later.

If Shiv plays both the series, then one think for certain is that he will get the record for most test runs by a WIan.

I don't think he'll fail against either England or AUS in the Caribbean. However, i don't feel confident of his chances if those matches were to be played away in England or Oz instead.
