Actually after but was too young to see him play. Also the proof is conclusive re Narine, Lawson et al and purely speculative re Charlie. How many here saw him bowl and can say this? He may have chucked the odd one but I believe the system was so discerning then he could not have been a serial pelter and survived. Remember there was nothing worse than being call a chucker

When Brett Lee and Flintoff pelt us away, that mitigated any reservtions about celebrating our victories - just did not appreciate Lawson. When Shabir (pakistani pelter worse than Lawson) came to the Caribbean, take a series by pelting before being called - that also mitigated the narines etc. However it is difficult to support pelters.
