Ramdin - Cappo (StatsGuru)

I'm surprised Andy99 didn't point this out.

Good stats to look into just a shame you couldn't use and manipulate stats when it came to your hero during his 3 year run.

After the turn that Kuk took since you 'adopted' him(from being a WI standout to being dropped for a BIM XI) and Roachie's form since you gone mental about best sine Ambi and Walsh I'd think that you wouldn't be so easily surprised anymore.

Now if you break it down series by series.
vs NZ - 5 innings, 179 runs at 35 no landmark scores.
Got starts in every innings but didn't carry on . A lowest score of 29.
vs BAN - 2 innings, 5 runs at 2.5.
1st Test came in with the score at 450 for 5 with CHanderpaul absolutely painting and tried pushing things along and went for 5. 2nd Test came in with some work still needed to be done at 268/5 but went first ball.
vs SA - 5 innings, 91 runs at 18, 1 fifty.
Failed in all but one innings.

Sorry I went out to sea.
Andy this has nothing to do with Sammy's failures. Or Kuk's failures. Or Roach's failures.
In fact by bringing up a bunch of failures it sounds like you are admitting Ramdin's...
In reply to Andy99
To be clear,
Are you suggesting his 20s average over 2 years is misleading?
In reply to Andy99
Roach form (which has mainly seen a drop off in ODI cricket since his return) doesnt take away from that fact.
Roach
He is the best fast bowler since Walsh and AMbrose.

Holder for captain!!
Either of Alcindor or Roland will do, just not Jason
In reply to Commie
You know how people pin the success or failure of the entire team on the captain? I am not here doing that so we are not going to look at wins and losses.
But Ramdin was promoted after his run of great batting.
Statistically his batting has suffered since being made cappo.
Has he been unable to shoulder the burden of cappoship?
In reply to nick2020
Dunno but Ramdin days are numbered unless he can have a great series either as cappo or bat or both.
Its unfortunate but at least two of the up and coming players are keeper/ bats.
In reply to Commie
Who replacing Ramdin in Test?
Who is the vice cappo?
In reply to nick2020
There was no succession planning for a keeper.
Ramdin is still safely the best keeper in the region but I'm not sure he holds on to the captaincy beyond the Eng and Aus series.
Simmons might be a help in that regard.

and he still playing?
