ENG 354/7 (90.0 Ovs)

It has been a fairly satisfying day for the England and not many would have expected them to recover so well after being reduced to 30/4. Root and Stokes bailed them out of trouble as the duo stitched a 161-run stand for the fifth wicket.

DREAMERS,

THE KIWIS ARE LOOKING FAIRLY COMFORTABLE THUS FAR!!!

VERY IMPORTANT SESSION COMING UP FOR BOTH TEAMS!!

ENGLAND NEED AT LEAST 3 WICKETS BEFORE TEA TO FEEL THAT THEY ARE AHEAD!!

I WOULD SUGGEST THAT WE ARE MORE LIKELY TO SEE THE KIWIS GOING TO TEA AT SOMETHING LIKE 144 FOR 1 OR 2!!!

75.3 Moeen Ali to Williamson, byes, FOUR, how did that miss the stumps and Buttler had no chance. Ripping offie, Williamson came forward to drive and the ball dipped on the shot to turn past the batsman, went through the gate and Buttler didn't gather it. It hit the footmarks and that made Buttler's job difficult, still will go down as a stumping chance as KW was out of his crease. That came out of nowhere

Poor batting by the Kiwis....must be too much IPL!

Cornfused 2015-05-25 13:14:01

220 all out . On the flip side , this Adam Lyth who seems to have over matured in the great English county system . Many said he was ready for the West Indies scores this test at home of 7 and 12 ........early days yet , but for a batsman at 29 now coming into the team , one wonders.

Very entertaining Test match, there have been many Test like this one lately, it is good for the survival of the longer format. I guess Holding is happy.
