Pity that Shiv had to be pushed.

So sad that Shiv had to be pushed,he could have retired with dignity after the last series. It was plain to most reasonable people that Shiv did not have it any more and had come to the end of a brilliant test career.,unfortunately like an ageing prize fighter hoping for a lucky punch he decided that he wanted to carry on....not a fitting end for one who is considered by most to have been one of the best batsmen in world cricket......walk good anyway Shiv and thanks

It was hard to watch. Rollercoaster of emotions. He's given a last chance. No, he's not. Then the haters came. LIAT left without him. WI cricket leaves him stranded. His fans dazed and disappointed. Dominica's adopted son absent at his own farewell. Too old.

Cricket has always been a metaphor for life itself.

Ottis Gibson dropping Chanderpaul without reason and robbing him 9 months of his career in his peak, where he was averaging 70 in Test ...
Chanderpaul would have crossed 12000 runs last year ....
