You do know that the number of matches played makes a considerable difference. Rampaul has played six matches ,and has taken nine wickets .Santokie on the other hand has taken eight wickets from three matches.

I believe, time is ripe for Selectors to go down the path of Australia, and learn to take care of our Bowlers, especially the Fast Bowlers, who have been injury plagued all the time

IMO, we should do the following:

Taylor
Roach
Bishoo
---------> Test Cricket
---------> Keep them away from ODI and T20 cricket
---------> They have serious history of having recurring injuries.

Rampaul
Santokie
Cooper
Badree
---------> T20 cricket
---------> They are specialists of this format

Other Bowlers like
Gabriel
Narine
Cottrell
Permaul
--------------> Be used both in ODI and T20 cricket by rotation

As for Talented All-Rounders:
Dwayne Bravo
Jason Holder**
Andre Russell
Carlos Braithwaite
Darren Sammy

these should be used in ROTATION in both ODI and T20 cricket, to give all chances and also keep everyone FIT

--

Such a WHOLESOME POLICY should serve West Indies cricket and these players well. IMO

--

** I would be very tempted to pull Jason Holder out of T20 cricket and let him focus on Test cricket and ODI's.
Jason has an abundance of talent, but he needs to be kept injury free.

The last thing West Indies needs, is for Jason to get injured and lose his bowling… (something that has happened to Angelo Mathews very early in his career, as an example and Shane Watson too has got injuries which has curtailed his bowling)
