I realized that many years ago , hence my continuous criticisms of all those
in the governance of Cricket in the Region and their many Surrogates in
this forum .

It is totally unacceptable , in my opinion for us to just throw up our hands and to quote you " Enjoy the Aussies ; Saffies ; Pommies ; Indians & Pakistanis play " BTW , you forgot to mention Sri Lanka ; and Bangladesh , yes the same Bangladesh that WE used to treat with Scorn & Derision .

By not challenging those in the governance of Cricket in the Region , obviously means that they have won , due to the fact that WE have surrendered . That in my opinion is totally unacceptable .

its not only the WICB to be blame for our failure...
WICB, the infrastructure of club cricket, the governments of the west indies, the players and their union...

everyone has contributed to our failure in some measure

First , I believe that what Michael
Findlay stated , that was put in the Forum by Caribbean Cricket is very true .

I believe that at from 7 years old ,
the basic fundamentals must be taught to children interested in Cricket . I
therefore endorse kids playing at an early age .

Also reading books on playing Cricket , as well as looking at Cricket ,
Books in my opinion impart much more information than looking at Cricket .

My take is that the basic fundamentals of Cricket are the same
regardless of the version of Cricket
that is being played . Obviously One
can improvise .

It is no different for Pianists , they have to learn & know the Scales , once they have done that , then they are free to improvise .

What did you expect after Don Hilaire?

I'll rephrase: What did you expect after HHGS?

Perhaps you may have forgotten , but
it is indelibly etched in my mind , that the 2007 Cricket World Cup could not have been held without the Regional Governments using Taxpayers
Money to make it happen .

In 2006 in this very forum I stated that the Regional Governments needed to extract from the WICB a legally binding document stating that those
in the governance of Cricket will undergo serious structural changes
in return for getting Taxpayers Money to assist them in hosting the Tournament .

The 2007 Tournament was a success ,

HERE WE ARE 8 FREAKING YEARS LATER ,

AND THE BOTTOM DWELLERS IN

INTERNATIONAL CRICKET .

To add insult to injury Bangladesh is ahead of our Team . That in my opinion reflects very badly on those in the governance of Cricket in the
Region .

Meds too strong, or someone is a former member of Bishop party.
Another socialist from the Windward Islands.

You really need to read over what you write , because you perpetually stray from what is stated and then try to
obfuscate what is stated .

I do not recall anyone writing or stating anything about Socialism or about Bishop . If this Post was about Socialism or Maurice Bishop it would have been in the Back Room

The point I made is that the WICB needed help from the Regional Governments to host the 2007 World Cup .

The Regional Governments had more cards than the WICB , so the Regional Governments were in a position to extract certain concessions from the WICB ,in
exchange for using Taxpayers money to
do what is necessary for the Tournament to be a success .

At the time I stated , what the Governments should have done is to draw up a legally binding document ,
stating that the WICB was going to have Structural Changes ; Exercise Good Governance etc .

There aint nothing Socialists about that . frankly had that been done it is quite possible that our Team would not be perpetually a Bottom Dweller .

I would like you to point out to me
what I stated, that had any freaking
Thing to do with Socialism , or Maurice Bishop . You need to engage your brain before writing Nonsense , and that is putting it very mildly .

The funny freaking thing is that if the Regional Governments had held the WICB's feet to the fire , we would not
today be wallowing at the bottom of International Cricket .That apparently
has escaped the attention of some people in this Forum .

Lost in the shuffle , is that it was the WICB that wanted the Tournament in the Region , and the only way that the Tournament could be held in the Region was if the Regional Governments helped
by building new Stadia ; renovating existing Stadia & Fixing the Pitches

I cite all this to illustrate , that
without the help of the Regional Governments :

THE WICB COULD NOT HOST THE 2007

CRICKET WORLD CUP UNLESS IT HAD THE

HELP OF THE REGIONAL GOVERNMENTS .

What WE got in return is Cricket in the Region Regressing , the very recent tour of the Region by both England & Australia , proved that the standard of Cricket in the Region is below what is required in International Cricket , even Bangladesh , who people used to laugh
at , is ahead of us .

TAXPAYERS MONEY HELPED THE WICB

HOST THE 2007 CRICKET WORLD CUP ,

IN RETURN , WE GET BAD GOVERNANCE

RECKLESS BEHAVIOUR ,& INCOMPETENCE.

PROMISES THAT THINGS WILL IMPROVE

NEVER MIND THE FACT THAT THEY HAVE

GOT WORSE .

There is a reason the T&T government paid over $4 mill US for The Her's final. there is a reason why St.Kitts paid millions to have a franchise/
Can the West Indies hold Digicel or Lime feet to the fire.
Each Island benefitted from the WC, countries usually build Stadium for WC, Olympics, Commonwealth Games and other world competitions.
Local athletes benefit fro these world class stadiums,
I doubt governments discuss the WICB, unless they are bidding for games.

Did the competitiveness of our Players in the International Cricket Arena
get better ?????????????????.

I am going to continuously state the
improvement of Bangladesh , as opposed to the fact that Cricket in the Region has seriously regressed .

The thing is that neither you are any one can dispute this freaking fact .
This verifies the fact that the WICB
is absolutely the Worst International
Cricket Board in the World .

WORSE YET IS THE FACT THAT THE

INTERNATIONAL CRICKET CABAL HAS

ALLOWED THE WICB TO BECOME A ROGUE

CRICKET BOARD .

Every one knows the WICB, we just do not make the board the centre of every post.
H&H had some good policies, they failed in dealing with players, playing in the IPL
Players are now given the opportunity to play in the IPL, and make them selves available for International duty.
I looked at the Indian tour different from you, because it was between WIPA and it members, having been a follower of the relationship between WIPA and the WICB.

On the face of it, there appeared to be a dispute between the WIPA and the most high profile of their membership.

But the WIPA and the WICBC became partners resulting in significant loss of earning power for those high profile players in particular

The high profile members were never against sharing revenue with FC players. In fact, they advocated for it. What they did not agree to was the wholesale financing of the revenue sharing by them alone.

From the time the WIPA morphed into the WICBCPA, the dispute was no longer between the WIPA and its high profile members. There was no more WIPA, having been hijacked by messrs Cameron. Hinds, and Hall

I am against the Regional Governments

INDIVIDUALLY OR COLLECTIVELY GIVING

THE WICB TAXPAYERS MONEY UNTIL &

UNLESS THERE IS A TOTAL RESTRUCTURING

OF CRICKET IN THE REGION .

BTW, those in the governance of Cricket will have to wait 5 years
after the structural changes , before
they receive one freaking penny .

This is to ensure that they simply do not get the money and then do nothing . If they cannot agree to this , then let them fall on their own Swords .

You seem to be saying, Jamaican cohorts agreeing to take money away from the seniors.
Knowing the history of WIPA, I ignore that and continue to think the players, should had gone after the president of WIPA.
In Calgary, the WCB would had represent the members against the union.
There always a chain of command, but it seem only two Trinis can work together as individuals.

Trinis stand up for what's right

Orhers tow the company line no matter what

Hence holder became captain and Samuels vice captain

The entire team made the decision to challenge the WICBCPA

Only 2 got punished for doing so. A third was also on the chopping block but was begged for by sympathizers

The entire universe can see, Bravo and others were penalized for the Indian tour.
Wavell has a habit of running, so I don't see how he can represent anyone.

It is not Bravo and others opening. It was just pollard and bravo. While the whole team was together in the episode (except Samuels) Russell was begged to play for WI, holder was elevated to captaincy and Sammy was forgiven. Rich continued to play inspite of the tweets
