HOST Jamaica failed in their bid to dethrone Guyana in the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) Regional Under-19 Cricket Championship after going down by four wickets at Manchester High School yesterday.
Despite a composed knock of 92 by wicketkeeper/batsman Jevoy Spence, which comprised nine boundaries and two sixes, Jamaica failed to get enough runs on the board, and a lack of composure when fielding later led to their downfall.
Scores: Jamaica 245-6 (50 overs); Guyana 250-6 (46 overs).
