Nothing significant here yet. Calm before storm which should be here sometime later today. I was informed that the eye may pass over us so I am looking for some rain but the winds could stay away.

Stay Safe , in South Florida , it is expected to be here sometime on Monday . It is not yet known whether we will get a direct hit , because of the many variables .
If it passes over the mountains of the Dominican Republic & Haiti Mountains ,
and those in Cuba , it will be weak , but then it is going to be on open warm water ; which could restrengthen
it .
It is going to have to deal with Wind Shear ; Dry Air & a Trough , so the
path , & strength ; in my neck of the woods , is not a certainty .
Make sure your vehicle has a full tank . and you have flashlights , batteries , Food etc . STAY INDOORS .
the slower it travels , the more damage it can cause .

How is VOR?
Net down?
I am praying for everyone. This is a terrible tragedy.
Saw that footage of Dominica and my heart goes out to the families of the 4 who lost their lives and the others who are missing. This is disastrous. I have been through Marilyn, Luis which were devastating hurricanes and maybe people laid their guard down thinking that this was just a tropical storm but 6-8 inches of rain in a short period is no joke.
Winds starting to pickup here but still hardly any rain and the winds are sporadic. It appears that the eye will miss us but we will get the winds and rain from the north side of the storm.

Need to prepare as this could strengthen as it gets into the open seas after the Dominican Republic. Bahamas and Turks and Caicos are so flat.
Stay safe bro.
