This is a good start, from the HC, lets hope the local boards have facialities and coaches, to assist these guys, when the training is finish.
West Indies head coach Phil Simmons has been supervising a training camp for a number of emerging fast bowlers at the West Indies High Performance Centre on the Cave Hill campus of the University of the West Indies in Barbados.

Where is Richards from T&T? He is one of the promising bowlers over the last couple of years... Are we not going to have anything to do with any player who is more than 25 Years?

Spot on. WI really needs to invest on 2/3 coaches who can help batsmen across the Caribbean. There is a serious need for Batsmen, Fast Bowlers and Good pitches.

Rome was not built in a day, plus with all the contracted players, the regional coaches should be working with the players.
I understand Roach, holder and others are also working with coaches, I know the Barbados guys were at the Centre of Excellence.

Interesting to see young Ray Jordan's name there...I take it that they are making some progress with remodelling of his action ?
Also Jerome Jones...he looked promising in an U19 WC a couple or so years ago but doesn't seemed to have achieved much since...obviously someone is seeing genuine promise with this youth !

Good question...Cummins is at least on a par with most if not all of those names..
maybe it's a question of availability ?

You have raised a very good question .
My take is that the batsmen in the Region should also be looked at , and then get the bowlers to bowl at the batsmen , with Coaches for both batsmen & bowlers in attendance .
The problem is that those in the governance of Cricket in the Region , do not believe in doing obvious things . I am looking forward to reading people stating here ,that they aint have any money .
