In reply to PaulChanders

In reply to defeyeant

Oh! Canada!
In reply to PaulChanders
yea second year me was in Canada. didnt know one thing bout baseball then but watched the world series in 92 and 93.
In reply to defeyeant
Cito Gaston threw out the 1st pitch...nice touch
I want the blue jays to kick these American butts. How can MLB say that our home games are not fit for prime time?
In reply to WI_cricfan
they think it's like Saturday Night Live - the Not Ready for Primetime Players
Jays can use that too as added motivation if required
Toronto pitcher David Price has settled down nicely in 2nd innings, strikes out 3...Jays up to bat, 0-0 ...
Texas up 2 - 0 in 3rd
In reply to defeyeant
Me too. Landed in Canada the September know not one thing bout baseball. But it kinda remind me of cricket likkle bit, nothing else to do and could not get into the white man dem chasing a black puck around a hockey rink. In addition blue jays had a yaadie name Devon White that was the clincher.
choke!!!
hopefully better in game 2
Go Rangers
Game 2 today...Go Jays Go
Hopefully Texas sweeps them. I don't need to deal with anymore traffic in the city.
2-1 Texas after 1st innings
C'mon Jays!!!!
In reply to Curtis

In reply to Admin
bottom of 13...is this it?
In reply to Curtis
almost....
Texas goes home up 2 - 0....Jays down but not out...
TV announcers, players, managers and media in general have to be diplomatic but I do not have to.
I was at the stadium today and it was a horribly called game with the Jays getting the shaft. When you know baseball you can sit anywhere in the stadium and tell weather a game was well called, badly called or a team was getting squeezed and the Jays pitchers got squeezed big time today.
In reply to Darkness
that home plate umpire was aweful, with the Jays getting 90% of the bad calls
who owns the Texas team?
even the tag out at 2nd base in the 14th, the Odor took his foot off the bag for a second and was tagged
so it starting to look like they getting choked
Game 3...leh we see who got balls
In reply to Curtis
getting squeezed again. Balk not called on Texas. Should have been at least 3:0 Jays now...
5:0 Jays top of 6th
Gwaan Jays....
two more games, lets do it Jays!
In reply to Darkness
They live to fight tomorrow! !!!....and Tulo finding his form back...
In reply to Curtis
don't forget Marco!
In reply to Darkness
Yes, he pitched a beauty...forgotten man that
Bump....
Messed up taking RA out the game...all he needed was one out to qualify for the possible win
Back to Tdot....
Back in TO....Game 5 Wed....winner goes to next round
Toronto Blue Jays:
Refuse to lose

Snatch victory out of the jaws of defeat
We never give up

Todays Jays menu: Texas steak.
In reply to XFactor

In reply to defeyeant
It all comes down to one game this afternoon. I am a little nervous, but I think we will raise the ALDS banner, Eastern Division Champions 2015.
I will be at sitting second row, first base side behind the media boot wearing a t-shit with "Keep the Magic Alive" printed on it.
In reply to XFactor
will look for yuh
At least the Jays have an X-Factor in their corner
any live stream?
jays down 1 before ya even blink
Texas will win this game easily. It's going to be sad to watch those awesome Blue Jays fans cry in the stands.

In reply to Admin
Take that from Bautista
Boom!
ALCS here we come
Rock and come EEN!!!!!
Great series win!!!!
Amazing!!! Wat happening with the protest now?
In reply to Admin
Thank You, Sir, please help in the ALCS. Bless.
In reply to Curtis
Well said, was thinking the same thing.
These Jays are loose and can be dangerous in the American League Championship.
I am rooting for them all the way to the World Series.
In reply to Kay
Protest - Jays can admit they were wrong.
Never mind the whole city was nervous to rass. Nuff peeps not even watching for fear of blighting them.
BOOO
In reply to PaulChanders
The atmosphere at the game yesterday was eeeeelectric!!!!!!!! One of the most entertaining game/sporting event ever. And I have seen quite a few, but nothing as crazy as this.
Theres no place like home for the Blue Jays. Rogers Centre was rocking. After the Jose Bautista home run, it felt like the roof was going to blow off. Bautistas stare down and bat flip was classic. I have lost my voice from all the screaming.
My head hurts this morning, not from any of the projectiles thrown on the field during the 7th inning when the crowd wanted blood, although I had to dodge a few, but from painting the town blue with the after-game celebrations.
The Jays are the third team in baseball history to win a five-game series after losing the first two games at home. For those who say the Jays are chokers, choke on that!
In reply to XFactor
hope you werent among the beer throwers.
In reply to XFactor
Nice going....you are now Toronto's X-Factor!!!
Keep it going....
In reply to XFactor
Shameful from the Toronto fans
In reply to Ridge
Toronto fans were having a few adult pops before, during and after the game and they didn't like that mickey mouse way of scoring a run.
In reply to Ridge
That was unfortunate. Toronto fans have always been a classy bunch. It is important to understand Toronto fans frustration. A do or die game being decided by an obscure Unintentional Interference Rule in which the ump called time in the middle of the play and then they awarded the run to Texas. That was not going to go over well with Torontos fans or baseball fans anywhere for that matter.
In the end the Jays won fair and square.
Bring on the Royals!!
In reply to XFactor
we gotta get you to go to more home games - are you planning on any of the KC series?
btw, the Bautista bat flip was a hot topic across the continent today and most of the radio jockeys had no problem with it
a few callers took offense but otherwise they supported the moment and the reaction, based on his past behaviour
In reply to Curtis
The bat flip.......It's called swagger.
All the greats have swagger. Viv Richards had it, so did Mohammad Ali, Reggie Jackson, Michael Jordan, Tom Brady has it, etc.
Bautista don't get the props he deserves. The playoffs will get him more media exposure south of the border.
In reply to Ridge
Bugg off
Celebrate the bat flip
Embrace the bat flip
Love the bat flip
Get a life if you disagree.
The bat flip t-shirt.
I'll be wearing it when the Royals come to town.
KC jumps out front...Jays had to let down from that Game 5
is why Gibbons leave Price in when he see things unravelling so?
Price is overpriced.
Real let down
In reply to defeyeant
It was that Goins / Bautista error that started the onslaught
Goins is the one I blame
Back to TO
In reply to Ridge
Price pitched a beauty until the error
The exBlue Jay analyst says KC was relaying the signals and hitting the fast balls
Well the Blue Jays take Game 5, to make it 3-2 in 7 game series
Now back to KC to settle it
Estrada pitched a gem
