Last Sunday, I saw the X-man for the first time. What a talented batsman. I know the bowling was nothing to write home about but this boy can bat.
Such an unfulfilled talent

My brother, we all make mistakes in life. As I said in the article, when I left the game, the memory was bitter sweet. I was thrilled to see such a talented player but also saddened by the fact that it is a talent that was never fulfilled. Please do believe me when I say that this young man is talented, but he has no one but himself to blame.

Being a little bit around the cricket in NY I see this all the time though.
What I keep reminding myself though is that these guys had ample opportunities to set themselves apart in the caribbean and let it slip... Yes the system is not good but others are finding a way to make it out and to the next level... it may just be that the WI team is better off without these guys who are not though enough to overcome the system and get to the top.

yup
agree with you there.
even back in high school...when we played cricket, some guys who got called to trials decided that they'd arrived on the big stage and selection henceforth was guaranteed.....

He has talent but for me athletes should look at themselves as an investment. So eat right stay fit and get the most out of your body. In short he needs to stay fit ...
