Lots of big name 20/20 players in the squad including prominent WI players.
Might be worth a peek in every now and then

I looked at almost the entire game on YouTube (search for GleeJoy) and Cooper's arm looked suspect from behind but extremely straight side on. I am referencing the side on replays for his bowling in over 12.
In reply to TrinCanJam

Scammy just hiding from Helegance like he hid from Gayle when he was playing for Windots a couple years ago..
Fidel, four overs, 1-35.
In reply to FanAttick
Evin Lewis out for four on his BPL debut....
Cooper 21 not out from 11 balls.
Cooper, four overs 3-28.
how good is cooper? he been the MVP of this tournament so far
In reply to navindesigns
Yeah, he seems to have been the standout player...we should reconsider him as a member of the West Indies team in this format.
Santokie, three overs 0-31....
Sammy, two overs, 0-11.
Kevon Cooper, four overs 2-30.
Evin Lewis gets his ton! 64 balls, seven boundaries, six sixes....
Considering Barisal Burners signed Evin Lewis before the draft and ppl thought they made a big mistake, they wanted Lewis to get a few games in before Chris Gayle replaces him in the line up. Now they might not get to drop him, but at least they showed the doubters that they scouted well.
Barisal Bulls have Evin Lewis, Chris Gayle, Kevon Cooper, Rayad Emrit (or is he just a consultant since he doesn't seem to be officially on the squad list?), Brendan Taylor, Seekkuge Prassana, and Mohammed Sami as oversees players and can only play 4 per game.
It will be interesting to see now how they rotate these players especially if everyone is healthy.
Is Andre Russell injured? How come Dwayne Smith is not around and he is one of the 6 BPL century makers, no one wanted him?
First rotation today...Cooper rested for Emrit to play.
In reply to BenGman
Rayad Emrit, four overs, 2-18....
Evin Lewis out for four.
Gayle out for eight, Lewis out for 12....
Sammy, three overs, 1-18....
Simmons out for 18.
Sammy with a run-a-ball 23....
Kevon Cooper, four overs 2-24....
Russell in the BPL now...not out on one, and 2.5 overs, two wickets for nine runs.

Cricinfo's headline says
I don't know how you "steer" a team home with 92 n.o. in 47 balls
with NINE sixes and 6 fours.
If that is correct - I want to see Gayle blasting them home
In reply to dax
A better headline would've been something to do with "Gayle-force"....
Rayad Emrit, four overs 2-29.
Evin Lewis out for nine...Emrit 54 not out from just 28 balls! Six boundaries and two sixes.
Wow Emrit!
Now is it Gayle, Lewis, Cooper and Emrit as the foreigners for the next game or are they going to 'rest' Lewis?
In reply to BenGman
Lewis 'rested'....
Meanwhile, somewhere in Bangladesh:
1.5
Mosaddek Hossain to Gayle, FOUR, bowls it full and wide, Gayle gets down one knee and carves it over cover for four more
1.4
Mosaddek Hossain to Gayle, SIX, tossed up on off stump, he leaned into the shot and smothers it over wide long-off, no one stopping it this time around
1.3
Mosaddek Hossain to Gayle, no run, played back to the bowler, quicker one too
1.2
Mosaddek Hossain to Gayle, 2 runs, tossed up on off stump, he clears his front leg and chips it over mid-off. No timing on this one, Nasir sprints back and taps it back
1.1
Mosaddek Hossain to Gayle, FOUR, GAYLE..! Fuller on off stump, presses forward and swats it over mid-on, one bounce and over the rope
3.6
Mosaddek Hossain to Gayle, FOUR
3.5
Mosaddek Hossain to Gayle, no run
3.4
Mosaddek Hossain to Gayle, SIX, fuller on off stump, he gets down on his knee again, brings his big heavy blade in time and lofts it over cover for another fab six
3.3
Mosaddek Hossain to Gayle, FOUR, fuller, in his arc and he thwacks back over the bowlers head. Long-off was stationed but..!
In reply to mikesiva
Man at the other pulling a Runako Morton...12 balls to get off the mark...
In reply to FanAttick
Gayle out for 31 off 19 balls....
Emrit made nine not out at the end of the innings, and his four overs conceded 29 runs.
Cooper, four overs 3-17 wins it!
In reply to mikesiva
What channel is the BPL 'on'
In reply to Halliwell
Flow Sports 95 in Trinidad.
They did 'rest' Lewis as I suspected.
In reply to BenGman
Mike watching pon sky
In reply to Halliwell
Actually, cancelled my subscription to Sky Sports...the price gougers them charging too much. Now have Virgin, so not watching.
Following on cricinfo...Simmons and Sammy vs Cooper and Emrit in the final.
Emrit, four overs for 24 runs....
In reply to mikesiva
Only two of those will be in the final because those four are playing the knockout now.
In reply to mikesiva
Where Gayle
In reply to Halliwell and BenGman
Gone to Big Bash in Australia....
My bad, I thought this was the final.
Simmons out for 73 off 57 balls, including nine boundaries and two sixes...well played!
Sammy out for a quickfire 23 off 10 balls.
In reply to mikesiva
I checked all those Bangladeshi channels
Nutting
Sleeping away in this Ars v AV
In reply to Halliwell
Premier Sport...another paid channel.
Cooper, four overs, 4-39...not bad.
Sammy, four overs 1-36.
Cooper (10 not out) and Emrit (seven not out) take their side to victory with three balls to spare.

I have a private TV server at home (Dual Xeons 16 Threads + 24GB RAM + 3 Cable Boxes + IR Blasters, Windows Media Center + ServerWMC + Emby Media Server and DDNS) for streaming all over the world, but I stream mostly to my phone when I'm actually in the house/school/driving or when I'm by family who do not have SportsMax
But usually h*tcr*c.*nf* or cr*cfr**.tv has all the games.
For the final...
BB: Lewis/Prasanna, Cooper, Sami and Emrit
CV: Kulasekera, Russell, 2 of Shezad/Zahidi/Malik (Santokie misses out)
Didn't realise Russell left for BPL too.
Well no West Indians on the champion team Comilla Victorians (who played today), but Samuels, Santokie and Russell helped get them to the final. Coopers ends the tourney as the top wicket taker, 22 from 9 matches. Congrats to Mortaza, 3 times captain of the winning team in 3 BPL tournaments.
so all the WI are in aus but only some playing for WI
this is some funny stuff
In reply to navindesigns
I think thats maybe one of the reasons for Samuels supposedly moppy face (I only saw 20 minutes of the first test). He was leading the Averages in the BPL with 149!, and was surely valued there in Bangladesh as part of the winning team... to be stuck playing for the West Indies, being ridiculed by everyone, playing for less money, and longer work hours playing the test match!
In reply to BenGman
...and in the meantime another trophy eludes CH who is hoping for tests return. Talk about consistency except in bribing.
