Caricom screwed up badly on this.

Ronald Sanders couldnt even get past the first round of voting and in the end they all had to end up voting for Scotland who was Skeritts nomination for Commonwealth Secretary General.

A bizarre series of events after a cast of Caribbean leaders got on as if Sanders had a hope in hell of winning.

She was nominated by Dominica. Sanders was nominated by Antigua. Sanders got voted out first round and it turned into a contest between Scotland and the African candidate. Scotland won.

Caricom wasted time carrying Ronald Sanders all the way to Malta to end up voting for the candidate nominated by Dominica and supported by Bim and Yard and Belize.

I Guess it is a case of Hobson's choice if came down to a choice between her and Sanders


She has a great legal mind but flawed judgment perhaps
