From one illegal delivery to all illegal

Real-cricket 2015-11-29 09:10:29

Rehabilitation makes Narine worse or the testing is not standard?

Or he has been found out..

It seems like Narine is being targeted, that 15 degree tolerance that was permitted seem to have been done away with. Narine to the natural eye seem to be within that 15 degree tolerance.

It is an obvious thing to question, why was he told that it was one delivery that was the problem, cleared of that, and now suspicion on all deliveries. You must ask the question,do they know what they are doing, left to you and some others,Narine's cricket life would be over.I have looked at Narine, and have not detected a bent arm,as before,he looks within the limit, but I am not a specialist like you and your bunch.

Where was all this talk when Shillingford was being ridiculed on this board? Oh I know...It now reach closer to home so all of a sudden is the system that have it out for Narine.

Understood.

The system....

And of course you and Allan...not that you could be considered insular or prejudiced. Just that you accuse others of being so.

your insular backside has to mention Shillingford in this thread.

Jeez Shilly is cleared and playing cricket so focus on him getting back on the windies team.

Your insularity would not allow you to question why would someone have been tested before for one delivery is now found out to be bowling all deliveries illegally.

What about the testing process? Is it transparent? Is it flawed?
all of a sudden Narine cannot bowl one good delivery?

Its very straight forward.

He was always throwing. They tested one of his deliveries and found it illegal but when they looked at his action in more detail they found that he was throwing ALL.

What is more of a mystery is how anyone who looks at his action in slo mo would have any doubt.

He got away with it and made a great career. He should give thanks.

I'm still waiting for the conspiracy theory surrounding his fall from grace.

One thing I know is Ashwij played a major part in drawing attention to him.

Next on the ICC, agenda should be illegal use of supplements…

Nemesis 2015-11-29 13:20:23

Narine should get some big lawyers and contest this all the way to the Court of Arbitration of Sports, there is no way you go from passing all the tests to failing all of them.

Yes indeed. My insular backside will not allow me to forget the dutty behavior of the Tittes, Yardies and Muddies in relation to Shilly's demise. I wish I could forget but I can't. Too bad you never called them out on their dutty behavior.

Again I wish Narine the best but conspicuously absent are the individuals who derided Shillingford.

doublecentury 2015-11-29 13:35:46

When reported you must b tested. Twice he was reported and twice cleared( once in England and once in India).

Does seem odd

I don't get side tracked by those guys. Anyway it is just baffling to me how the tests before did not pick up his supposedly illegal deliveries. What does this say about the whole testing process? Can it be trusted?

TheTrail 2015-11-29 14:34:22

Yup, never rejoice on other people's demise because yuh never know when it will be your turn.

Ah case can be made his action got worse???

jen 2015-11-29 17:57:09

Anyhow, my take on it is that Narine has always been throwing, even in the just concluded sri lanka series they had it on slow mo and the commentators agreed about the kink.

I think he has gotten a much longer rope than expected to be honest.

Not long before Senanayake from Sri Lanka gets called another time as well. Old habits die hard. See Ajmal can't even find his way back into pakistan team since he can't chuck so big again??

The pelters didn't become pelters after years of playing....these guys learn the game by pelting...from a young age....they can't unlearn pelting...

Once a pelter...always a pelter.

ICC dropped the ball during the Murali 15 year era....a whole generation of spinners then learn the art of pelting....now ICC is asking them to bowl

To get rid of pelting there must be zero tolerance...like they are attempting to do now....young kids must get the message....COACHES MUST GET THE MESSAGE....and they must include the fast men too..not spinner alone

It is so embarrassing today...that the great Clive Lloyd was fighting for Philip Narine only a year ago...and now he is formally convicted

Maispwi 2015-11-29 20:11:23

Its quite simple When under pressure to make something happen a player will resort to old habits

After 800+ wickets you call that dropping the ball?

terminator 2015-11-30 00:48:27

Narine is a pelter, always been from day one. End of story

Justice for Nicolas Pooran!

It was such a shame that the youngster was made to look like a fool when Narine pelted that over to him. Delayed justice, but justice nonetheless.

Watch the first 4 deliveries

In reply to SnoopDog Not sure what to make of those deliveries! I'll watch again....
