better doan ease India with any spin bowling in the finals....he eased Bangla today...no way Joseph should have ended up NOT bowling his full quota (is there an explanation?)

Just him?

I say all of them lol

natty_forever 2016-02-11 10:11:20

In reply to nick2020... well they only mentioned his name in this thread. big grin

The others need to be sent to an academy and allowed to go on A team tours over the next 3 yrs. Then we start integrating them into the senior team.

Norm 2016-02-11 11:23:07

Regardless of the reason, it turned out well and Joseph is a bit fresher for India.

May be time to introduce an Wi U 23 team apart from the CCC. There could be more talent that needs visibility. If not for ccc Chamar holder would have not been playing WOrld cup now

Darren Sammy style... or selection by merit? cool

jacksparrow 2016-02-11 11:51:48

Hetmyer and his boys behavior on the field almost like they playing club cricket in New York . Bowler fighting over field setting, changing field every ball, over rate and quarreling,it was real funny lol.
Good win though, I with them from the beginning and it's gonna be tough in the final but they have the ability to do it, just a little more discipline.

ray 2016-02-11 11:54:29

they young and boisterous.... lol

natty_forever 2016-02-11 13:06:10

analyst-kid 2016-02-11 13:12:23

all de talk...we should not take the foot off the gas when it comes to India.

In reply to jacksparrow

I saw that too but liked the passion they showed, especially the skipper.

jacksparrow 2016-02-11 17:32:20

Passion is welcome but this went beyond that. but I am 500% sure they are going to get a good talking to by the management.Surely they can learn, hope to see a difference in the field against India. They have the ability and talent to win this but need to back it up with a bit more discipline.

Norm 2016-02-11 17:55:13

The apparent on-field bickering is this team's unique and successful communication method. Why tinker with that by imposing an unnatural way on them?

"Discipline", like "manners" or a "cluttered desk", is very subjective and could be harmful if applied willy-nilly and unnecessarily.

mikelegend 2016-02-11 18:12:19

In reply to Norm

Agreed. cool

100% correct

jacksparrow 2016-02-11 20:20:46

You miss the point, willy nilly seems to be their approach right now.Discipline does not only refer to manners.

Norm 2016-02-11 21:37:30

In reply to jacksparrow

You miss the point

OK, help me.

Also, tell me how "discipline" would have improved on what this quarrelsome lot has achieved thus far.

if you can't see that for yourself,I am not gonna expound. In any case it's more about the future.

Great. So when someone, like one of these young cricketers perhaps, can't see your point, you will respond as above.

Is this the "discipline" you are recommending for this team?

When one of them asks, I will definitely enlighten them.
