I’m fully ready whenever they (West Indies) need me. Phil Simmons wanted me to play the games, to make myself eligible for selection. I’ve fulfilled my end of the bargain.”
Did I went into some coma and missed a few tons since his return to FC cricket?
No wonder dat Revolution cannot advance...dat water they drinking have something to do with KP's claim....I am actually leaning towards him being out of cricket due to concussion!

This kid is either not very smart or really has a sense of entitlement. He has not played in the region for two years. What does he mean by he fulfilled his end of the bargain?
Dude, score some runs or sit your ass down
In reply to jballer84
You see it too...he sound like an arrogant entitled fack....he don't even have manners to say the 'Coach' but 'Phil Simmons wanted him to play........
In reply to WestDem
I like Powell, but how come we hear no prima donna talk here?
Like he's trying to live up to the KP initials.
He's bipolar or delusional. Are you guys sure that he isn't a Trini?
Really Kieran? Are you serious? I am a big fan but you full of yourself with this sense of entitlement! You need to humble yourself and make some runs next FC season because you have done NADA to merit a pick on the West Indies Team. You have not had one 50 this LICA Tournament and this after 5 Games, so by that you may not even merit a pick in the Leewards team yet alone West Indies team.

The man was told to play in the regional tournament, he did that for a few games, they either pick me or let me try field hockey, Village basketball, netball or some other sport.
Didn't Prez Cameron anoint him a next WI cappo?
Him sound like another Helegance
In reply to voiceofreason
I know you are a huge fan of the kid and I like him too, so it's good that you are seeing what the rest of us are. Kieran cannot even make the A team right now. He needs to dominate one of our competitions and then he can get picked. CPL is coming up and that will be an opportunity if he can do well. I'm not concerned about the format, he just needs runs.
my boy Pow Pow still mad!
In reply to WestDem
That interview is bad.
Champions do tend to be arrogant but that is not a good look on Powell.
Something does not seem quite right
I'm glad he's 'eligible' for selection. That's the first step.
Now, go score some runs, and earn that spot back. And this time, don't throw it away.
The kid has talent, and experience. Him, braffit, bravo, these guys are needed in the test team. They don't even play ipl which means they'll prioritize tests
In reply to WestDem
So says a man who averages in the 20s.
In reply to Devin
Do you know any delusional Trini,or is your warped perception of Trinis.Your problem goes deeper than jealousy.Crry on with your hate, you'll soon get a brain haemorrhage.

In reply to nick2020
De man think cricket owe him...maybe he gave a similar baseball entitlement interview hence his short career!!!
In reply to CricketLuva4
I like Powell, but how come we hear no prima donna talk here? PD is used but as in Pybus Dumped!!!
In reply to Devin
Naah...he is nat but he played lots of club cricket in T&T....maybe, juss maybe!!!
In reply to WestDem
The first thing Powell has to do is learn how to play the swinging ball. Action not words will then dictate where his career goes.
In reply to JOJO
it is only not funny if he is really mentally ill!
In reply to camos
Based on all that has transpired, what do you think? ...(no need for a response).
In reply to camos... JOJO saying POW POW MAD!
In reply to JOJO
So u confirming what camos saying in jest?
In reply to WestDem
Let's see what Powell did in the matches he played for Leewards towards the end of the season....
Two FC matches, 96 runs, average of 32.
Montcin Hodge has done better than him this season! Five FC matches, 401 runs, average of 50.12.
In reply to WestDem
Sounds as if he is just as delusional as the poster who thought he was going to be a major league baseball star.
