Man was a drug addict(piper) that kept stealing from people,of course I don't support those actions but addicts can be pests at times..

HE WAS NOT BEATEN FOR HIS YAMS AND THE PERPS WOULD BE CONVICTED OF MANSLAUGHTER AND NOT MURDER.

This was no 'grandpa'...this was a middle aged drug addict with children who had children...Is this the grandpa you want fOr your kids?...he's one of the people responsible for how T&T is today,a bad parent,a drug addict parent of the 80's...

I bet his kids are criminals...

Doh worry bout dat place nah,I hope no slaughter takes place by you..and if it does I hope it's mostly criminals and cocaine grandads..

What's causing the higher rate of slaughter in several US cities? Why do they still have such an appetite for drugs, why don't they control the outward flow of arms and ammo? Why are so many good decent random people killed at work school play etc?

I must believe what you've said, when I read the story I knew that nobody will kill anybody for a bag of Yams or any other food items. It stands to reason, that some other factors were responsible for his beating, which was responsible for his death.

At least they didn't shoot him, he went out in a more humane way. Let's all thank the good citizens for putting this most unfortunate guy out of his misery.

A Barrackpore grandfather suffered a cruel and painful death on Saturday, when he was beaten for a bag of yams by bullies in the village.
Colin Mitchell, 52, of Clarke Rochard Road, died after being beaten with a shovel and a pitch fork.
Mitchell’s family said the perpetrators were a 20-year-old man, a 50-year-old man and a woman.

That is directly from the newspaper.

That's the point..

Look at the age disparity of the attackers..you really believe them does route together beating people to death? I ain't asking you what happened I am telling you fair nicky boy..

Dem papers does sometimes say Nissan Hilux and Toyota Land Rover lol..

RIP to uncle all the same no one deserves to be killed for stealing IMHO,but obviously it was a beating gone bad and maybe not even intended to kill.

I just have a problem when people are trying to make it look like a deadly yam robbery in depraved T&T.

'Slaughtered' to be precise.

The paper did not say who the bag of yams belonged to. What part of the article from the paper was inaccurate?
