Pace is not everything - line and length with some swing bowling (movement) would suffice any sensible selector.

So if I said he was quite lively, would you have been happier?

Baje 2016-05-27 18:07:21

All in all Mayers and Holder caused some discomfort on a bouncy pitch.
Ramsaran was the pick of the bowlers for Windies. He spun the ball both ways, while maintaining a good length.

He played for CCC back in the Caribbean T20. He's a chinaman bowler.

what is your impression of Aaron Jones, he seems like a special character .

Baje 2016-05-29 09:31:35

In reply to CricketLuva4
He was bowling both chinamen and googly, and the batsmen had no clue which was which. He is pretty fast through the air so it was hard to get to the pitch of the ball.

First time I have seen him. He looked quite compact, good temperament.Met him between innings when he came to speak to games master Cousins. Pleasant quiet chap.
