Going on an Eastern Caribbean Cruise this Saturday, I am in St. Ktts on Monday, St. Lucia on Wednesday and Barbados on Thursday. Won't it be something if the CPL started to coordinate their schedule by inviting the Cruise Companies to the table. Imagine if the schedule was coordinated this week and their was the possiblity of seeing 3 CPL games. All it would take is to the Ship to leave port 3 - 4 hours later on game nights and the coordination of the schedules.....

If the organizers of Cricket WC2007, headed by none other than the great Yagga, couldn't get that plan to work, what makes you think that a Dave Cameron led organization could pull it off.
Oops, sorry. I forgot that Dave doesn't run the CPL.

remember cruise ships leave ports at strategic times so that they can make their next stop on time, plus they do pay port fees o unless it's a 'Cricket' themed cruise I don't see that happening. Would be nice though, but highly unlikely.

Hence the reason to try to obtain a different audience, I know tons of West Indians who can afford cruises but prefer to only go on vacation back to Guyana and hit every rum shop up and down the coast...throw cricket in the mix and they will come.
A party of 20 of us will be going to the Florida CPL games.

They only leave at 5.30pm because they don't want to pay docking fees beyond a certain time. They literally sit out in the Ocean until its time to dock at the next port to save money. If they have reason to stay longer they would...
