For Many Years , most people in the Region have stated that the ills of Our
Players non competitiveness in the longer versions of the game in the International Cricket Arena , belong to
Our Players .

I have never ever subscribed to that
asinine idea . The fact of the matter
is that there exists , at least in my opinion , an Asinine idea , that everything wrong with Cricket in the
Region is the fault of our Players .

Obviously that aint the case , because
Players have be selected , dropped , fresh Players have been selected , but
WE are indulging in a cruel game of
Musical Chairs .

In essence :

" WE ARE RUNNING VERY FAST BUT ARE

STILL IN THE SAME FREAKING PLACE ".

My take is that the WICBC , and the
various Cricket Boards in the Region
need to undergo very serious Self Examinations . Because they also are
a large part of the Problem , regarding the non competitiveness of
Our Players in the longer versions of the game .

When the WICBC for years has commissioned Reports regarding its Structure and the swiftly dismisses
these Reports . This is tangible proof
that it does not ever intend changing its 1927 Structure .

It is very important to note that Australia & New Zealand have changed their Structure comparatively recently . But that aint the case with the Dimwits who are in the governance of Cricket in the Region .

Look the WICBC & the Regional Boards
are deathly afraid of having to be
TRANSPARENT . This in my opinion is the CRUX OF THE MATTER .

They relish being Secretive , this is precisely why they have rejected the
Reports they have commissioned .

The sad fact is that their Sycophants
in the Media are never ever critical
of their modus operandi .

These Sycophants have also played a significant part in the fact that in the longer versions of the game , the
standard of Cricket quite frankly is
PISS POOR .

It is quite shocking that many of these so called Sports Journalists are being celebrated and fawned upon
by some People in the Region .

Those People also must bear some responsibility for the state of Cricket in the Region . They like the WICBC & its Sycophants MUST bear some
responsibility for the Sad Sorry state of our Players in the longer
version of the game in the International Cricket Arena .

Nah,this team was a fair one albeit the selectors do not have a clue about selecting.The players could have done better but just did not put their hands up.Holder could have been a bit more proactive instead of .. whatever he was doing.
Lets see if they have the balls to make drastic changes.

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink.

In the same way selectors can give lot of opportunities to these talentless skunts but the end result will always be the failure.

Its waste of resources and time providing them with facilities it will not change the end result without dedication and passion.

DEDICATION & PASSION ALSO NEEDS TO

COME FROM THOSE IN THE GOVERNANCE OF

CRICKET IN THE REGION .


In my opinion , ALL the Boards in the governance of Cricket in the Region are Top Heavy . More money is spent on those Morons than on developing the
Game in the Region .

Let me cite an example . The Windward Islands Tournament at one time was played over 4 days . Currently it is
a 2 days Tournament , this obviously demonstrates that rather than making
progress the Windward Island Cricket Board has seriously Regressed .

You are spot on.
Both Samuels and Darren should be leading the batting, it is not the WICB's fault these two cannot bat for a day, Kraigg who I love dearly, cannot continue with a SR of under fifty after facing over 200 balls.
Holder should decide if he want to work on his entire cricket, instead on focusing on T20.
Some selections seem to be on potential, if Chandrika can only score one hundred in his entire regional career, with an average of under thirty, why is he playing international cricket?
Carlos and Jason should not be playing together at this time, not as your main strike bowlers.

I find it very interesting that in
Regional matches many Players perform very well . However in International
Matches , they aint all that great .

This as I have stated in this Forum for many years now , demonstrates that
the standard of Cricket in the Region
is nothing to shout about . Frankly it is below the level required in the longer formats of the game at the International level .

Do you actually think regional cricket would be the same, if Viv and others did not participate in it?
How many regional games have you seen, in your life time?

Forget about winning if these guys are talented and passionate they would have taken this game to the 5th day. If the whole batting line up can't bat for a day in a test match we can understand the level of talent these guys have, only god can save WOUNDIES cricket. It went to hell.

Even Bangla and Afghan can do better than WOUNDIES on their home soil with the limited resources they have. Still you people shout board not doing this and that. I agree there is fault with board but there is more fault with players( not talented) in the region and their dedication and passion towards the game.

Logicless POINTLESS guys don't understand simple things. They are pre-occupied in their world ejaculating over a 50 rather than a big 100 and blaming the board when players have no passion to take the game into a 5th day.

The fact is that the WICBC & the Regional Boards are bloated Entities
that for years have siphoned off money
that rightly should go towards making our Players truly competitive in the International Cricket Arena .

SPONSORS . STANFORD WAS IN CHARGE

OF THE SHORTEST FORMAT OF THE GAME ;

THE LONGER VERSIONS OF THE GAME HAD

SPONSORS . MYSTERIOUSLY THEY STOPPED

BEING SPONSORS .

This obviously was & is troubling ,
but not to the WICBC or its Sycophants here and in the Media .

The question is this , How much money that the WICBC gets from the International Cricket Cabal etc is
spent on making our Players & Team
competitive in the Regional & International Cricket Arena ????

This POINT is a genuine skunthole. He will blame the board when the players suck and appreciate the players and not give any credit to the board, When they do well..

It was only roughly 3 or 4 years ago
The Emperors decided that they should have a Pro League in the Region .

This is after many years refusing to
understand that the absence of a Pro or Semi Pro League in the Region diminished the competitiveness of our
Players in the International Cricket Arena .

The many Jackasses in this Forum refuse to understand that there were
two very salient factors that produced the Golden Eras of West Indies Cricket , when our Players &
Team ruled the Cricket World .

Suddenly at the zenith of Our Players
& Teams domination , England decided
to limit the number of Overseas Players playing Cricket in England .

Swiftly following the above ; the
International Cricket Cabal hatched
another scheme . This involved changing the International Tour Schedule .

No longer would Touring Teams have the luxury of playing a lot of matches before & between the Test Matches . This was & is significant
because it deprived Touring Teams from getting acclimatized to the Pitches & the Weather .

Lost to the WICBC ; its Sycophants here & in the Media , is the fact that in the Region there was not a Pro or Semi Pro League ; a concrete
example of the utter Stupidity of those governing Cricket in the Region .

As I have stated here many times ;
If those in the governance of Cricket had brains , when our Players & Team were the best in the World , they would have realized that having a Pro
or Semi Pro League would have benefitted our Players competitiveness
in the International Cricket Arena .

Sadly they sat on their individual &
collective Asses , and did not do anything , at a time when Sponsors would have been eager to come on board .

SPONSORS LOVE BEING ASSOCIATED WITH

WINNERS & OUR PLAYERS & TEAMS WERE

WINNERS .

So there is absolutely no doubt that the WICBC missed the boat . Worse yet
Cricket in the Region is still suffering from this Colossal Mistake .
Our Players because of this crass stupidity , had no inkling regarding
what is entailed in being a Professional Cricketer .

Now there aint anyone in the World
who can factually refute what I have stated here NONE .

In the Golden Eras of West Indies Cricket , most of Our Players played
Cricket in England ; and also
benefitted by the long Tours , which
made them acclimatized to both the
Weather & conditions of the Pitches ,
despite not having a pro or Semi Pro League in the Region .

The Sad thing is that the WICBC will
never ever admit that it made a grave
mistake when England restricted the free flow of Players playing Cricket
in England .

Nor would the WICBC tell us why it
bluntly refused to have a Pro or Semi
Pro League in the Region when our
Players ruled the Cricket World .

WE for many years now have been and
are reaping the bitter harvest of
defeats particularly in the longer versions of the game .

Why ? Because of the lack of Vision & Foresight of succeeding Members of
Absolutely the Worst International
Cricket Board in the Commonwealth .

Interesting ,my Critics have apparently scurried to their Holes .
I am challenging them to factually try refuting what I have stated here .

It is the colossal Stupidity of the
WICBC , why in the longer versions of the game we are at or very near the bottom of International Cricket , in the longer versions of the game .

So People need to consider this when
I state that it aint the Players alone who are responsible for the
current abysmal state of Our Team & Players in the International Cricket
Arena .

Most of us don't think much of the WICB, but we move beyond that organization.
The reason why most ignore your post, they have been fans and followers of Windies cricket through the good times and the 25 years of failures.
I for one has not missed following a series, since I left Barbados April 1970.

I want YOU & others to factually refute what I stated . If you and others can provide credible evidence that what I stated is untrue , I will
stop repeating what I have stated .

The crux of the matter is that for many years the greatness of West Indies Cricket was sustained by
the fact that many of our Players
were allowed to play Cricket in England .

They also played at a time when there were many matches , before & between the Test Matches , including more than half the Counties when touring England .

The point I have made , has seemingly
gone over your head . So let me simplify it for You , in the event that you still have not got it .

1. Our Players got acclimatized to
the Weather and the Pitches .

2. Our Players in the Golden Eras of
West Indies Cricket , because
they played many matches , were
endowed with a lot of Physical &
Mental Stamina , these attributes
enhanced their abilities ,in ALL
ASPECTS of Cricket .

3. As a result of their Mental &
Physical Stamina , they were able
to concentrate for long Periods
in Batting ; Bowling & Fielding .


4. All this occurred , when most of
Our Players benefitted from
being allowed to play Cricket in
England ; and the Long Tours .

5. However more important , in my
opinion ; They learnt what being
a Professional Cricketer
entailed .

6. When England decided to limit
the number of Overseas Players
playing Cricket in England &
then the International Tour
Schedule was changed . These two
things devastated Cricket in the
the Region .

7. Why ? Because there was not a
a Pro or Semi Pro League in the
Region .

8. This seriously affected the
competitiveness of Our Players .
It prevented our Players from
learning what is expected of a
Professional Cricketer .

Now , as I have stated many times in this Forum , because the Powers that be in West Indies Cricket , dropped the ball . the Standard of Cricket &
the competitiveness our Players started deteriorating ; especially in
the longer formats of the game .

Now when I look at all this from a macroscopic perspective , reasonable
people would agree with my assessment
that Simply blaming the Players alone
for the state of Cricket in the Region & the competitiveness of our
Players is totally Asinine .

This aint about how many times I keep saying the same things , I intend doing that , until someone can factually refute that what I state is
untrue . YOU are invited to try .

Show me any article written by any
Sports Journalists who have cited what I have stated in any of their
Columns or articles . I have not read or heard about any such analysis
by any of them .

You claim to read a lot about Cricket Articles etc . So it should not be hard for you to find a Sports Reporter or Sports Journalist who stated what I have said here , or can factually refute what I stated .

All my critics have to do is to factually refute what I have stated .
If they cannot do that , then do not
try obfuscation what I have stated .

The freaking fact is that in the longer versions of the game the standard of Cricket is not only :

PISS POOR , IT IS BELOW THE CURRENT

STANDARD OF PLAYERS & TEAMS RANKED

ABOVE OUR PLAYERS & TEAMS . NOW THIS

IS A FREAKING UNDISPUTABLE FACT .


The salient point I am making is that
unless & until the Standard of Cricket in the Region improves significantly , it makes absolutely no sense thumping One's freaking Chest .

BTW , it should be very obvious to all that to achieve that goal ALL
PLAYERS in the Region will have to improve .

The Stinging defeat of our Players by India , vividly demonstrated this freaking fact . whether You like it or not . Writing about this and that Player , is meaningless , when they
fail in the International Cricket Arena .

What WE need in the Region is an holistic approach to raising the standard of Cricket in the Region .

This is precisely why having the same 2 or 3 Teams winning the Regional
Tournaments is not an accurate measure of the standard of Cricket in the Region .

I am firmly of the opinion that if & when ALL the Teams in the Region are
more or less on par with each other ,
then & only then , the possibility of
the standard being raised will occur .
It all goes back to the adage :

" A CHAIN IS AS STRONG AS

ITS WEAKEST LINK ".

Pointless post the same shoite every 24 hours

It is a very common ploy that those
who cannot refute what is stated , they automatically revert to making JackAsses of themselves .

I suspect that the reason they are unable to refute what I state , is due to the fact that they cannot do that .

Evidently the Truth hurts so much that
it drives them not only Batty ; but
