Chelsea and Man Utd off to a good start...three wins from three games for nine points each.
Good to see Arsenal finally winning a match.

English Premier League
Five matches played....
1) Man City are on a maximum 15 points.
2) Everton - 13 points. A bit of a surprise there....
3) Tottenham - 11 points. Ninesy in seventh heaven!
4) Arsenal - 10 points. Slow start, fast finish.
5) Chelsea - 10 points. Not living up to the hype?
6) Liverpool - 10 points. Will Klopp come good this year?
7) Man Utd - 9 points. Is the Mourinho magic wearing off?
In reply to mikesiva
What Mourinho magic?
I just had a Stoke City supporter come up to me and ask me if things will get better. I, being a Villa supporter, could only shake my head.
The refusal to dump Rooney is mindboggling....pogba needs to be pushed into a more attacking position and carrick reintroduced to the squad.
In reply to mikesiva
What hype?
Chelsea did not come into this season with any hype.
How can team not even in Europe come in with hype?
In reply to DAVE400
I was thinking the same thing about Pogba. With his skill set he should be the midfield general and very much a part of every attack. Being wasted playing so deep.
In reply to Oilah
Pogba was a waste of money. Alex Ferguson realised it and sold him cheaply.
He is no better than the Balotteli guy that Liverpool wasted millions on.
In reply to nitro
Only time will tell but I think Pogba is a top baller but we will see how how produces
In reply to DAVE400
Only if you don't follow English football.
The English view Rooney as better than Pele. To drop him is sacrilegious for them.
They bestow GOD status to their players....from Stanley Matthews..to Bobby Moore....to Bobby Charlton...to Paul Gascoigne (he was actually really good)....to Alan Shearer...to Rooney.
Next on their cult list is "Our 'Arry" Kane...and Jamie Vardy....LOL!
all bar Gazza...overhyped.
They were all good...but not great footballers.
In reply to imusic
Charlton and Moore were overhyped? Ok then.
In reply to archangel
Dude.....Chelsea ALWAYS has hype. Ah know allyuh tryin to fly under de radar but allyuh playin de underdog role is like the hare tellin everybody before the race that the tortoise is really the favorite
Doh try dat
In reply to JahJah
Absolutely.
In reply to imusic
Charlton and Moore were great players. Moore is one of the greatest ever defenders to boot.
In reply to JahJah
Greatest in England MAYBE
You get caught up in the hype.
In reply to imusic
Moore is regarded as one of the best defenders ever, by not just English fans, so just cease and sekkle.
I don't like England nor do I pay ANY attention to their hype. I also do not discount some of the greats THEY produced!
In reply to imusic
Hahaha.
Ok sir.
I agree we always have a look in but especially this season we playing second fiddle to Man U and Citeee.
In reply to JahJah
Apart from that World Cup at home...what has Bobby Moore won?
Serious
Did he ever win the English title?
European Cup?
FA Cup even?
How is he the one of the greatest defenders when England won one tournament of note?
Maybe he had A good tournament and that mushroomed into him being the one of the greats.
Again...HYPE
In reply to imusic
Are you saying that a player cannot be considered great if his team never won a major title?
Granted i dont know these players you are discussing however in the NBA there are great players who never won anything.
In reply to imusic
They may not be great players in your eyes but they are certainly better than Latapy, the greatest baller from the caribbean according to you!
In reply to imusic
The hyped Chelsea got hammered by Arsenal...
Man United drop Rooney, and beat Leicester 4-1.
In reply to imusic
Is that your argument. Seriously? Re-think that line of thinking and wheel and come again.
Like mi bredz remember Lara Croft and back down from him stance.
Everton were lucky to get away with a 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace....
After that shock defeat to Spurs, Man City's lead has been cut to just one...Man City on 18, Spurs on 17.
Arsenal and Liverpool have 16 each, followed by Everton on 14, and Man Utd and Chelsea on 13 each.
In reply to mikesiva
What shock? Spurs has been on roll since Son became a regular starter...
I called this one Saturday night with some buddies...
Ninesy can also testify that I calling a Spurs title early o clock...
Has been written....
In reply to DAVE400
Leff Mikey...both he and pondie are such bitter old skunts!
A lot of people predicted this outcome... granted I wasn't one of them but these days I try to lower my expectations after last season's debacle at the end.
My son predicted we'll win and won a wager at work.
Jermaine Jenas wrote an article in the beeb last Friday on Why Tottenham will beat Man City
Even the Gooners at work are happy for this Spurs win...for selfish reasons of course!
In reply to DAVE400
Spurs win the Premier League?
That's the best joke I've heard all year!
I guess the theory is that if a lowly team like Leicester can win it, then surely Tottenham must be in with a chance.
It ain't gonna happen....
Congrats to Ninesy on walking down the aisle today
Man City and Spurs fail to win and Arsenal rises to joint top points in the table
In reply to Acid
A goalless draw between Liverpool and Man Utd....
19 points - Man City and Arsenal
18 points - Spurs
17 points - Liverpool
16 points - Chelsea
15 points - Everton
14 points - Man Utd
In reply to NineMiles
Dirty Tottenham hang on for a goalless draw at Bournemouth....
In reply to mikesiva
3 teams tied on 20 points at the top (Man C, Arsenal, Liverpool) as Tottenham drop out if the top 4
Ninesy can't pull rank on Pondie now
In reply to Acid
There is no tie
GDis a tie breaker
In reply to Halliwell
You learn well from Dave Lamy's manual
Tottenham got knocked out tonight by Liverpool. It has been a long time since Spurs won a match
Spurs are the only British team that lose in Champions League this week
Really embarrassing for Wembley
In reply to Acid
They were poor at Wembley....
Chelsea crush Everton to go top. Could this be their year?
In reply to Acid
Tottenham playing with 3 center backs
These men come out to play draw football
With 3 center backs, Tottenham score an own goal. It was bound to be confusion with half your team parked in the 6 yd box
Arsenal 1-0 Tottenham
42'
Kane 1-1 penalty 51'
In reply to Acid
Do we look like we came out there to play draw football, you arsehole?
It's a tactical change and Playing 3 at the back frees your fullbacks to be wing backs and attack from the flanks.
Look, if you know nothing about football, best to shut the fack up arsehole!!
In reply to NineMiles
Acid seems to be a novice

In reply to NineMiles
Is Spurs doing an open bus parade after scoring 2 at the Emirates?
In reply to CW
Yep... we showing you Arses how to score goals since you lot don't know how to!
In reply to NineMiles
When did u last win a game? Or even win at Wembley
Our last game we were 2 down...check the score lol
Still scored more than you even when we let you use both goals in the same half
this thread needs a bump
Top of the League we are top of the league ............ where are the spuds fans no doubt rubbing one out over a pack of wankers crisp !!!!!!
you know the ones who voted fuh taking their country back from Brussells when they had it all the time
In reply to ponderiver
The top six have a very familiar look to it now...no Leicester City upset this season.
1) Liverpool - 26
2) Chelsea - 25
3) Man City - 24
4) Arsenal - 24
5) Tottenham - 21
6) Man Utd - 18
Man Utd go 1-0 up against Arsenal....

Good come-from-behind win for Man City over Burnley....
A similar win for Chelsea over Tottenham...no surprise there.

6) Man Utd - 20 points
In reply to mikesiva
Noice!! Mourinho and the scum looking up at the big boys
Chelsea look the most organised , my team are doing well but we wont win it not with Henderson as skippah and midfield general!!
Arsenal have a good chance but their problem, is what to do with Ramsey .?...... He is the personification of a headless chicken......he gets everywhere but they lose shape with him in the side.
City are always good for a bet but they wont win it not with that goal keeper ....... Hart was never that bad, wot was Guardiola thinking ?/
In reply to mikesiva
And the table will change this upcoming weekend as Man C plays Chelsea
In reply to ponderiver
So you talk about the top 4 teams, skip 5 and talk about Mourinho in 6th - Now you see why Ninesy says you don't give him any respect
Ramsey's position is Özil's spot. But you can't drop Özil. Two years ago Ramsey was scoring match after match. With Özil as the central playmaker, Ramsey is out wide or either taking up Carzola's position.
In reply to Halliwell
Shameful, dirty, disgusting Citee players and you fackers deserved the licks!!
Bwahahahahahahahah..............................................!!
In reply to NineMiles
Lol not nice to see that kind of behaviour on a football pitch
Not sure I could have stayed as calm as Fabergas
In reply to Acid
A mistake by the West Ham defence...Sanchez capitalises, and Ozil makes it 1-0!
Sanchez scores a beauty! 2-0....
It's the Sanchez show...3-0!
Andy Carroll pulls one back, but the Ox scores a scorcher! 4-1....
Sanchez gets his hat-trick!
In reply to mikesiva

Nothing more scummy that redneckville Liverpool where everyone are cousins.
In reply to Acid
Yep, it surely has
Terrific games btw
Laughing at PondieScum's LiverFools
I mean Bournemouth putting 4 past you....what a joke team you've got there!
In reply to NineMiles
Liverpool is my team regardless...but dem cyan defend tuh save dem life. This is exactly why they didn't win the EPL a few years ago when De Cannibal was in fine form.
In reply to Oilah
You mean De Racist Cannibal, right?
ManU throw away two points at Everton!
Great substitution Mourinho!
In reply to NineMiles
We only had one cannibal so it must be de said one
In reply to JahJah
Oh dear sensitive!!
The scum know who they are and Manure are not on my radar
I think to date my apraisals have been spot on re title chances
In reply to ponderiver
Do you live in Merseyside among all those inbreds, bredz? Typical Liverfool.
From the brawl:
Confirmed - Agüero misses 4 matches (Leicester, Watford, Arsenal, Hull)
Confirmed - Fernandinho misses 3 (Leicester, Watford, Arsenal)
Confirmed - Fàbregas: no ban
Another Arsenal hatrick (Lucas Pérez) to qualify for the Champions League knock-out phase as Group A winners
In reply to Acid

In reply to Halliwell

Teams from 5th to 10th all in the 20s now jostling for their spot
In reply to Halliwell
Di Spuds assuming their usual lowly position
They did a Brexit and that form has continued into the EPL
In reply to Halliwell
Yep, Spurs lost to ManU...but not as bad as pathetic Citee letting FOUR in against lowly placed Leicester City.
In reply to NineMiles
Sorry mate, top 4 having a conversation here
Hold strain nuh
In reply to NineMiles
I applaud your bravery.
When I went to school, lower form guys who wandered upstairs would be kicked and slapped into going back whence they belong.
Dont let me have to raise my metaphorical hand.
Get back !
In reply to Halliwell
The way things are going for your team, you won't even make the top 6 at the end of the season!
And remember we slaughtered your rass 2 zilch earlier this season... so you best shut your skunt..
In reply to Commie
Sorry to hear you got slapped mercilessly at school Commie.

You nuh tired ah looking up the table at us?
In reply to mikesiva
You jackasses jerk off too premature!
In reply to mikesiva
Oi Jackasses, anything you Arses have to say about this evening results?
It's clear most of you idiots know fack all about football.... y'all are just gloryhunters and all it takes is just one win for you to start jerking off!!
Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah.............................................!!
In reply to NineMiles
Still looking up at our Arses.
Familiar position.
In reply to Commie
So what? Everyone looking up someone's arse except Chelsea for now!
You fackers are not going to win the Premier League so you better get used to that fact now!
All you can do now is wait for Bayern to kick your stupid arses in the new year!
In reply to NineMiles
The only trophy you playing for is the wait and see Arsenal lose trophy.
In reply to Commie
Look, just take your loss and chill and stop bawling like a likkle arsybway!
In reply to NineMiles
So no CL spot still? If we believed your insane shouting you should be first since everybody losing
In reply to Halliwell
Oh STFU you little twerp!
After every weekend fixture you idiots have a go at Spurs. You'd think we are bottom of the table.
I'm simply responding to you all in kind.
Now ManC play the Arses this coming weekend... you still going to playing kumbaya with the likes of Mikey and Commie??
Like I said you lot are nothing more than gloryhunters and the only thing uniting idiots like you is your dislike for Spurs. I wonder why?
Bunch of facking idiots!
Bid game soon start...Arsenal vs City
In reply to Oilah
Don't expect the facking idiots to show up until the result is in their favour!
In reply to NineMiles
Wuh appen..men frighten
Already 1-0 but could have been 1-1 and we just about 10 min in
In reply to Oilah
See what I mean? Dem not showing up until the next Arsy win and Halliwell showing solidarity by keeping away too!
city just have to get through this month.
In reply to camos
You see the officiating in that match? Two easy to call offsides and the linesman fluffed it.
In reply to Acid Was Sterling's strike a pass?.Silva was in no way able to interfere with Sterling's shot.
In reply to imusic
No mention of George Best ???
In reply to POINT
George Best was Irish....NOT english
We totally crumbled after that equalizer soon after the resumption of play in the 2nd half
City scored and then finally started playing "Pep ball" and we simply had no answer. The winner was just a matter of time. We could hardly get the ball out of our half....we gave the ball away immediately whenever we had a sniff of possession. Quite a poor 2nd half
Sadly......a typical Arsenal playing against the "top 4" performance. Nothing has changed.
And why would it? It's the same coaching staff....how Bould remains defensive coach when we have made the same mistakes year after year after year...is beyond me.
In reply to imusic
Sob sob... typical whining Arse supporters! but at least you are not blaming the officials like that twat of an acid!
In reply to NineMiles
You firing on all cylinders bro
In reply to Acid
Ole Eric said "Let d donkey bray!"
In reply to Halliwell
In reply to Acid
Yeah, I'm having a good time seeing you cyan run your stupid mouth about the Arses winning for the last couple of weeks!

Man U will be 5th by New Year's Day
A so-called Citee supporter wishing ManU progress up the table. What a joke and you couldn't make this shit up!
In reply to NineMiles
Wishes is for Spurs fools
I talking inevitabilities
Too bad you adopted the way people tell you you must act to prove your fandom
Another indictment on an already lengthy rap sheet
assimilation on steroids
In reply to Halliwell
LOL... laugh is on you boy... you just proved you are not really a Citee fan, just a gloryhunter!
Here's a tip, just make sure you don't let real cCtee fans hear you say that...then again you are unlikely to come across them anyway!
I take it this is still an EPL thread right??
Well, Alan Pardew got the sack from Palace this afternoon... but of course you fackers don't care. You only watch the top four, right?
Bunch of pretend footie fans!
In reply to NineMiles

What a goal by Giroud to open the scoring after 17'
Iwobi adds a 2nd after 56'
In reply to NineMiles
Interesting stats there
This season, Leicester looks like last year's Chelsea while this year's Chelsea looks like last year's Leicester
In reply to Oilah
Bet all you so-called Arse, Liverfool and Citee supporters are hoping Spurs beat Chelski this evening!
Come on, don't be ashamed to admit it
In reply to NineMiles

In reply to Oilah
You are not one of the haterz ...and those being called out know exactly who they are!
In reply to NineMiles
hey! win one for us.
In reply to camos
If...and that's a big if, if we win, we'll be doing it for ourselves, since I expect we'll beat allyuh in the coming weeks.
If Spurs avoid defeat, they will preserve Arsenal's 14-match run as the longest win-streak Premier League history
In reply to Acid
Hehehe
Spurs as usual, with the help of Chelsea, bolsters the Arsenal
Chelsea beat themselves tonight; Spurs should not feel in any way confident going forward
We love you Hotspurs oh yes we do
In reply to Halliwell
You could not have seen the game and still posted that shyte above ....!?!
Spurs were more than worthy winners of that game, out-playing Chelsea for stretches and firmly holding their own the remainder. They have the stingiest defense in the league, as good a starting eleven as any and an excellent coach.
They're right in the thick of the race now and, other than the sad fact that they're Spurs, have as good a chance as the other contenders to go all the way.
In reply to JohnBull
You have time for that idiot!
Alli was MOTM but Wanyama and Dembele won this game for us.
In reply to mikesiva
You haven't posted the league table for a while now...and I wonder why!
In reply to Halliwell
and you wonder why I keep calling you an idiot!
you are facking clueless as they come!

In reply to DAVE400
Yeah, I know you tipped Spurs to win the title this season.
Imusic and Trinidave wish they can also declare their support for Spurs again but dem too shy!
Spurs will get back to their rightful place soon.
Heel Spurs Heel!!
In reply to Commie
Will take that as your way of showing appreciation for the SuperSpurs performance last night
In reply to NineMiles
It was a great performance cheered on by Arsenal fans.
The truth is we do not respect Spurs. We fear Chelsea.
That's like Buster Douglas beating Tyson. Everyone wanted to fight Douglas after.
Same ting.
In reply to Commie
LOL.... you are one mudderfacker
In reply to Commie

That table looking a lot better than a couple of weeks ago, don't you agree?
In reply to Halliwell

ManU v Liverpool ends one all....
Mikey, time to post the league table again!
In reply to NineMiles
Everton were more than worthy victors
In reply to NineMiles

In reply to NineMiles
You should call it ugly. You all know every contour and scar on that Arse.
Staring at the Arse
In reply to Commie
Dats the whole of your ambition... just finishing ahead of Spurs and no chance of ever winning the league again... and all because you fear Chelski. Sad really!
You'll get another chance to cower under your bed on Saturday 4th February 2017.
In reply to NineMiles
Watch the table. Watch it WELL !
More fyah
In reply to Commie
Like I said, Dats the sum of all your aspirations... You are happy playing 3rd fiddle to Liverpool and ManU and fearing Chelski.
And thanks for reminding me, we've won more European titles than you... Nayim in yuh skunt!
In reply to NineMiles
We are ahead of both but most importantly, the Spurs.

Spurs peaked at 3, in a year when Leicester won and Arsenal failed
Question is, will the Arses even make the top 4??

We lose to Burnley, Bournemouth, Swansea (who at de time was close to or dead last) and Hull who was in de bottom 5. Feel like I in a Trump world of alternative facts
